For the people who are scared when the fuel light comes on. The moment it does, you have at least 35 kilometers left, most cars have even more in them, but it's enough to go fill up if you're in the city. Also, for the drink one, your front door is supposed to open inwards, so the police, fire department and ems can kick it open in an emergency. Edit: I didn't know storm doors were a thing

While the door itself opens inwards the glass door always opens outwards because they can't both open in the same direction.

2:50 Californian here - I can confirm this is calcification caused by hard water. It happens when the water is let to evaporate naturally, rather than taking the effort to dry it either via air dry or hand dry.

I was a manager for UPS for years and one of our drivers started filming himself knocking loudly and waiting when people had signs on their doors. One lady in particular would NEVER answer and then call and scream at us.

Have a friend who used to work delivering for UPS. He always used a chest body camera. It was on the moment he started and off after he got back into his personal vehicle. It cleared up a lot of false issues that were had.

1:48 this likely was due to improper installation of the window. this looks to me like it broke due to temperature flexing. while glass has very high heat tolerance, you put it somewhere where it goes from cold to hot often enough and it WILL shatter. at least whoever designed this building used safety glass.

It looks like something COULD hit the window from the outside, though. If you look closely, the cracks definitely propagate from one point in the top-right corner, which could be seen at 1:44 - probably that was the point of the impact, and the rest was just internal stress doing its work (hardened safety glasses in windows are designed to shatter like this).

The window shattering could be just pressure, as zach said, they are pretty high up, the glass may shattered due to that, or temperature, as the photo showed it seemed chill-y, if it was hot before that may have agitated the glass... but most probably it was someone on the othet building with the slingshot

10:35: For places that allow you to place orders over the phone, if you run into something like this, try calling in to place the order. Quite often, if you're only a few cents away from the free shipping, they'll waive the shipping for you. I know you can't for Amazon, like in the OP, but still, some places it's an option.

Around here it seems to be a local tradition for people to walk out of a store then stop, dead in the middile of the foot traffic to have a coversation in the group, as they occupy as much space as possible. It gets worse on sundays after all the churches empty out, too. And then they glare at you as if you killed their favourite pet if you commit the unforgivable sin of *stepping aorund them because you have shit to do*.

Also, I'm glad that in this video, we're shown every exact subreddit that these posts came from -- I hate when it only says "infuriating subreddits" or "interesting subreddits", so I hope we can get this specificity all the time if EmKay isn't covering only one subreddit.

This applies to the videos in the EmKay playlists that are titled "Infuriating Subreddits", "Interesting Subreddits", "Bad design subreddits", "Weird images subreddits", and "Top memes". In this case, though, all of the subreddits that were covered in this video were named at the beginning of it. I hope that makes sense.

The thumbnails (and sometimes titles) typically mention only one subreddit name, but if the video consists of a mix of some with similar themes, they aren't specified. This has been the case with some of EmKay's recent videos, such as their meme videos, their weird images videos, and their infuriating videos. However, this one specifies all of the subreddits that are being covered at the beginning of the video, which is nice.

The syntax that guy used was horrible. It sounded like he only ordered 1 pizza, but received two (in this scenario it sounded like they were out of Large pizza crusts, so gave OP two medium pizzas). But I think the OP actually ordered Two pizzas. 1 medium pizza And 1 large pizza. But they only gave him two medium pizzas, with one of them inside a 'large' box.

Glass can withstand a crazy amount of pressure but it kind of builds over time. I've witnessed glass shatter in front of me after doing absolutely nothing to it. After a lot of stress it'll do that on its own. At the time my dad was doing the dishes and in there there was my ikea pink glass plate. He set it down on the counter and after a few seconds we heard a bang. The glass just broke into a million pieces. He didn't drop it. He just set it on the sink counter. I was so upset he got me a new personal plate the next day I still use to this day. It's a plain red ceramic plate.

Don't wash in [...]" This is what you have all of those little symbols for, which these tags do actually have as well - but the symbols aren't all that clear on what exactly they mean, so a lot of people don't know (I don't - they also seem to be different in different places, I tried looking them up once and they seemed to be completely different symbols).

There's usually only one laundry label (because of the symbols). The rest of the tags are the other required labels (size/style/sometimes material content/any trademarks, etc) in all the different languages of where they sell the clothing. So that they don't have to make two identical shirts with different labels to send one to Mexico and one to the US. Disney is particularly notorious for these, because they sell their stuff just absolutely .everywhere. and they have a good amount of text because of the trademarks and other legal things. I've had a Disney shirt with like 12 tags before.

5:00 as part of US fire code, all exterior doors must open outward. this is so that should something inside the house fall against the door in the event of an emergency, it can still be opened... yes, i know that most houses have the storm door open out, and an "exterior door" behind it opens inward, completely nullifying that reasoning, but that's why it was put into the code.

I work at the customer service desk at a store that is open 7am-11pm. One time my manager found a notice for a missed delivery on the automatic sliding door at the entrance of the lobby. Pretty sure it would've taken more effort to try to stick it to the moving door than it would have to bring the package to the customer service desk.

That said, at one point my brother had to get a security door on his house that opened outward because a bear broke through his front door.

Depending on how close to the ground it is, that bottom shower shelf might have been intended as a foot rest for shaving. I've seen built in ones before. Using the same piece as the shelf makes it look dumb even if it is at the right height, but it might have been done correctly just a dumb design choice.

To the "250Euro dye job" My partner spent like $200 for a dye job meant to bleach their hair light because they wanted to use various wash out colors. 6 hours later [it should NOT take that long mind you] they came out with their hair basically the same tone as they went in, but instead of being a redhead ... or the blonde they asked for, they came out a brunette with tanish colored hair ... literally looked more like they figured out how to remove the red in my partner's hair and called it a day. And btw, they sent pics at the "half-way" point and their hair was damn near white before the "toner". Made us both so mad.

For the "Recycle" "Compost" "Trash" thing - this is likely actually due to customers. While yeah it might be a bass ackward policy - customers rarely look. A place I used to work had recycling and trash - both got used by customers as trash, regardless of how full anything was. Literally because they didn't look, they just saw "Bin" and went "Trash". Despite them being WELL and LARGELY labeled. And since no one was paid to police this, we HAD to throw both bins in the trash every time because you can't recycle stuff soiled in that much food and no one is paid to sit there and sort, and rinse a bunch of bottles so they can be recycled. If we tossed our recycling as is to the recycling plants, they would ALSO throw it away.

They simply don't have time to wait for you to get done with whatever you are doing, come down to the door, and then sign for whatever it is you are signing for. They have to deliver to hundreds of other people too, people that are able to come to the door straightaway when they knock. And they _do_ knock. Multiple times. Odds are that the OP never actually heard them and is just karma farming. Moral of this story: The world doesn't revolve around you, answer the damn door!

Check your math mate. The area (so how much pizza is in your pizza) is defined by π*r², where "r" is the pizza size. So if a medium pizza is for example 15 inches and the big one is 24 inches, two medium ones don't make a large one, because a medium one is π*15²= 709 inch², while the large one would be π*24²=1809 inch². So even if the pizza is "just" 9 inches bigger, it's actually equivalent to 2.5 pizzas. All of this of course depends of the actual size of pizzas, I don't know the size of the medium and big over there, but always keep the math in mind

Except the deal is they bought 2 medium pizzas. Then was offered to upgrade one of them to a large. So they ended up purchasing 1 medium and 1 large pizza. But what they received was the 2 medium pizzas, but one of them cost as much as a large.

@@wizz1358 Either you get some really massive pizzas that need extra large tables where you live, or you're waaay overestimating the sizes. Otherwise, you forgot to divide by 2 Before squaring. Actual size might vary by half inches or two, but according to some googling, Papa John's pizzas are more like 11.5" Diameter for Medium making an area of 103.8 square inches, and 13.5" for Large creating an area of 143.1 square inches. @tarille1043 One other issue we're dealing with is that we don't actually know if OP ordered 1 Medium AND 1 Large, or Only a single Large pizza.

@@wizz1358 Umm, what? Pizza sizes usually go up by like 2 in at a time. Not 15 > 24. That might make the math work, but two standard mediums (12in) is a LOT more pizza than one standard large (14in). But, as tarille pointed out, the original OP ordered and paid for two pizzas, 1 large 1 medium, and got two, 2 medium.

I am that petty that if a driver leaves a drink in front of an out swinging door I'm going to knock it over complain on the app and get money back from it because it takes half a second of logic to see two doors and assume one of them is going to swing out Don't place it on the welcome Matt
