Our Song Season 1 was really great! This music program allows senior singers to collaborate with junior singers, aiming to pass on the past and connect the future. There is Fei Yuqing, an evergreen figure in the Taiwanese music scene, who is now a member of the Taiwanese music scene (his voice is amazing), and there are also many powerful singers in the Chinese music scene from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan! The combination of Liu Yuning and Ren Xianqi contributed many beautiful arrangements of classic songs (most of them are very classic songs by Ren Xianqi), and the two became good friends because of this show! When Liu Yuning performed in the costume drama "A Journey To Love", he specially invited Ren Xianqi to sing the theme song "One Thought Off the Mountain" which has the same title as the Chinese drama. Both of them are amphibious stars. They both started out as singers and later switched to the entertainment industry. They all started out as street singers. Because it is not easy to understand each other, Ren Xianqi takes great care of Liu Yuning.

This is one of the first songs I’ve heard Liu YuNing sing. I loved it and all g his collaborations with Richie Jen. He still considered himself a “student” and inexperienced singer at that time.

The beginning of the music is not really Indian but rather Xinjiang folk style of music which has a strong influences from Persian music style.

My personally favourite from this pairing would be their rendition of 依靠 (Reliance, originally by Richie) and 爱江山更爱美人 (The Bold and the Beautiful). This is not Indian, but more Turkish/ Uyghur style music which is from North West of China. China is a big country has a big variety of culture mixed with Islamic, Mongolian and Han.

Richie Ren is from Taiwan and this song is his own, but when you hear it, it is also good but less spectacular than this duet.
