I like this. Just took a intermediate pistol class a few weeks ago, and the instructor had us slow all this down. Same starting position. High ready. However, finger didn’t touch trigger until sights were on target, then 3,2,1 for trigger pull. This seems more efficient.

Our problem is we're way too passive aggressive as opposed to straight out aggressive like most other ethnicities. I'm speaking specifically about those that are rooted fundamentally in Confucian culture - China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam. Our Confucian fused upbringings and natural disposition toward passivity contributes to the stereotype even though it's mostly inaccurate, in my opinion of course.

Assuming its his Ronin version from Springfield but with all the hate on the internwebs these days on the reliability of the 1911 platforms and the craz with the 2011's, interested to hear why a SOF guy who likely was issued an M9 chose to go back.

Why is the muzzle elevated to begin with? The target is never “high”. Level presentation !!
@billykimble14952 жыл бұрын
From his previous videos, the high compress reduces the chances of someone getting shot in case of an accidental discharge versus a low compress where the barrel is aimed lower.
@longgone98692 жыл бұрын
@@billykimble1495 I guess I was assuming he was working on the final two steps of a draw stroke from the holster and I didn’t see the logic of sweeping the muzzle vertically past the threat only to come back to a level plane to make the shot. To me it’s equivalent to porpoising the muzzle and wasted emotion. 🤷🏼♂️ The best way to prevent a negligent discharge is to keep the finger off the trigger until the sights are on the target kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWbMl4Z9lsqSpLc
