r/Nuclearrevenge In today's story, a homeowner gets kicked out of his house due to his controlling, evil Homeowner's Association. The former homeowner then carefully plans his revenge, and eventually returns to an HOA meeting with a gun! He kills 2 of the member before he's arrested. It's absolutely insane what steps people will go to get revenge. If you enjoyed this content, be sure to subscribe for daily Reddit videos!

as someone who was mo**ed as a child as well, it makes me smile to see that revenge. My abuser never got outed until a few months ago, about 20 years later. He now has to live with the fact that his family now knows what he is as he is on his death bed. People who do that to children get the worst eventually. Children are innocent and pure and people who hurt them are just evil.

The HOA story. I want someone to imagine this though, you buy a house, you spend decades paying it off, living in this community, making friends. Then for years get sent BS fees, that are draining your bank account by tens of thousands of dollars, maybe even forced debt, then unable to upkeep it, you lose your home. I cant say I blame the guy, its not too different than a robber trying to take everything you own, only in this form its legalized. Which is another reason why HOA’s should be illegal.

I had a similar situation with a store location Soooooo some back story I recently moved to Houston was there a few weeks and found a nearby store to transfer into after meeting the store manager Couple of months goes by no problem They hired a new night manager and brought in some new overnight workers Aside from 2 other workers and myself everyone including the managers all smoked weed during breaks and lunch They even were bold enough to steal food during their shifts My problems weren’t with this it was with the discrimination I had to deal with as a white male in a store with 90% of the night team including managers black and they were all smoking buddies Soooooo here’s a typical night I generally floated all night from one department to another and I would even stay late some days I’d stay until 10 overtime is overtime HR would try to make it my fault but I tried to explain to them how stupid everything is on how the dairy department barely has any help on a 16 hour task to do it in 8 hours That’s two people working consistently on the task and finishing by 7am and then doing the department managers job so he can bullshit in the break room or the meat cooler anywhere there was no cameras So the main dairy worker was always there and on his off days I was the replacement The frozen worker on these two days was the helper for these days in dairy which was just ridiculous On those two days the frozen guy would take his time on a 2-4 hour task finish it around 3 am and take the rest of his shift playing with a guy across the store instead of helping me in the dairy department On nights where it was only 12-14 hour tasks it’s not so bad sometimes a feature comes in so we separate it and put it to the side The audacity of some of these lazy morning team members was hilarious They expected me to work 18 hours of freight Break down 6 bunkers of features and set up the new features change the price points and label and bin the overstock from the entire night That’s around 30 hours of labor to do in 8 hours I talked with my supervisor of the night and told him the task was realistic And that they were pulling the frozen guy to chemicals to work 4 pallets of freight with his friend I mentioned earlier It was great I recorded the conversation I told him it wasn’t fair that any of the unfair stuff is going on and the dairy guy has me helping him after lunch every night and I don’t get help when I’m working dairy He simply says “ the other guy is black and has hard a rough life and needs a good environment to grow” I told him if he needed to grow maybe he could go to therapy instead of Smoke weed and figure out his life The manager at this point is mad at me as it was his nephew or cousins son I looked him straight in the face and told him either send me help or this is my resignation He declined sending me assistance so I finished the night typed out an email for corporate with names of everyone they needed to drug test and they locked down the store for mistreatment of workers for 3 weeks until they did a complete overhaul on management and the overnight team The store is doing better I stopped by a year later ran into the dairy guy he said the cross I had to bear was a sacrifice that needed to be made I was at a breaking point and the only thing that kept me from first fighting the significantly larger manager wasn’t his size, it was my ability to make smart decisions and put that store under investigation The manager I almost fought was on probation with the company as he was sleeping with the female cashiers in exchange for giving them hours Instead of just firing him

--- @@redshirt49 Well, "HomeOwner Association" alternatives do exist but for the most part they certainly are far more governmentally monitored, as in they certainly not following the "laws of the Wild West". "Housing cooperatives" are a very good comparison in sense that this applies to every other non-stand-alone / single-detached-houses. Majority of the times you're required to pay a "maintenance charge " (in Finland, this is called "Yhtiövastike" which literally translates to "company compensation"); this is the cost collected for maintenance (naturally) and any expenses that needs to be done in the cooperative (E.G. piping-replacements and other renovations). You find some more details here of the Finnish-example (in English): www.reddit.com/r/Finland/comments/a3buqd/what_is_yhti%C3%B6vastike/ Also including in Finland, if your house is located next to a non-government-maintained road (I.E. is a private road), this road specially needs its own "private road association" in order get subsidies from government. In USA for example, homeowner associations would / should also handle road-maintenances of their area. So it's not that homeowner association-entities itself are evil. But it's the everything within and around it that make them to be "wrong". And (seemingly) unfortunately, this is yet another thing that still lives in "Wild West"-era... ---

The second story broke my heart. This happened to my youngest sister. Unfortunately I was not in her life yet as we were separated at birth and i only found her 3 years after this happened. I was 18 when i found her. She was 14. Apparently it went on for years and the family protected the perps (more than one) and told her to think about the family and how dare she put them in danger with the law. I offered to take her in if she wanted to but she said the main perp died and the other stopped after that (was also a child and likely just doing what the adult told him and not knowing any better). Lucky me he already died cuz i was already packing up to go murder his ass. She was on the edge of suicide by the time i popped into her life since she basically lived with people who would rather protect her abusers and made her therapist break patient confidentiality and used it against her. Apparently she always knew i existed but never thought i knew about her or cared. I had actually spent over half my life trying to find her and the others. So when we first started talking she told me everything and since i had witnessed similar things at a young age i could relate and we ended up talking alot. Out of all the younger siblings we are the closest despite the relatively little time we've known each other. Part of me feels guilty for not being there (i was 17 or 18 at the time) but we both understand that it was entirely out of my control. But i still get angry with myself for not being there for her or protecting her like a brother should. I'm also pissed with the other brothers to a degree and can't really bring myself to forgive them. 1 for being an active abuser. The other for not doing anything to stop it. But i recognize they were also really young and probably couldn't physically stop anyone. We both do therapy but often talk to each other about our life issues and act as therapist for each other when we just need someone to listen. And she's told me im her favorite and she tells me things she would never tell her family (for fear of an abusive response) and now im extremely over protective of her and im currently helping her plan to become independent and escape that environment on her own power (her wish) though she knows all she has to do is ask and id drop everything and come for her. Currently she's my entire world and i live to spoil her and make her happy. The current bf has my approval though im still cautious mainly cuz he's new. But so far he seems like a good kid.

what's shocking? an hoa being somewhere can kill property value entirely, its suppose to improve, but it almost never does. in the end, a home in america costs upwards 300,000$ in a place an hoa may exist. I would be willing to fight to the death with someone over robbing me of 20$ much less 300k+ which depending on how you live, is an entire life to acquire and still have money to live on in retirement.

Josh R As it should be.... a$$holes stealing people’s houses deserve death. In this country we used to regularly hang people (with or without a judge and jury) for stealing someone’s ride, how anyone would question the need to keel someone for stealing a house is baffling, and anyone not understanding that has likely never had anything stolen from them...
@cetomedo
@cetomedo 3 жыл бұрын
@@Rick_Sanchez_C137_ I am very sorry to anyone who is reading this mess of a comment, but especially the Rickest Rick It's because the crime and punishment has to fit each other, but they have different values for each person. Some people see death as less severe than others, just as some people see theft as less bad than others. Worse still, is that how much worse/better should the punishment even be, if not equal? or should it be equal? Most would agree that arses stealing people's houses do deserve a severe punishment, because houses are not a common commodity for almost all people *cough* *billionaires* *cough* *cough*, most people would disagree that if you stole a house, you deserve to die. The optimal outcome for most I think would be a 40-lifetime sentence and The return of the original property without any damages. Since that wasn't a real option here though, I think it would have been more fitting if Richard waited and found another way, not because they don't deserve murder, I can't tell you they don't, because every person decides themselves, but he effectively committed suicide to get his revenge. (To show that I somewhat (almost certainly not fully) understand: I didn't have my house stolen, but I did have some much much less valuable things stolen,(100-1000 dollars cash, credit card, I.D. card(was out of country, so I actually almost got stranded), etc. again, not nearly as valuable, but I had to live off of 1800 dollars for a month, excluding credit card, so when I lost both the credit card and the few hundred, that was a pretty big hit, but thankfully I'm a very non-social friendless person so I didn't have much to spend it on (yes I did indeed just burn and compliment myself at the same time) Or you could also answer it as philosophy is an annoyingly complicated maze with no definitive answers

I know... my stepdad works in construction, so he has a pretty big work truck. And whenever there was HOA fees, 9 times out of 10, they didn't allow him to park it there. So, whenever we saw a house we liked on realtor.com, we would always have to check if there was HOA fees.

Honestly as far as Richard was concerned, if they park in front of his house to block him in then it should be no surprise if a tire is unscrewed. Plausible deniability is a thing, if they accuse you and as long as there are no witnesses you could easily get away with it and eventually parking there should stop once enough tires go flying off while you’re driving on the freeway!

'They didn't think twice'? He didn't follow the rules of the HOA, repeatedly, and his house was foreclosed on. There are myriad ways of dealing with that situation that doesn't involve murdering people. Did he try to join the board? Did he go through the bylaws to find out if they were right in sending him the bill for unwanted landscaping? Did he try to sell his house once it was clear he wasn't going to abide the HOA rules? Hell, were the people he killed even in the HOA when he lost his house, or were they complete strangers who never did a damn thing against him?
