To be honest, I'm not seeing the revenge. Maybe I'm too body positive, but I'd gladly eat myself to an early grave for free. As it is, I can't afford to have breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts for the same reason I can't have breakfast at Starbucks, or even a healthier place... like McDonald's (everything is relative). And that reason is that I'm not really some dragon-turtle princess from an alternate dimension; I'm actually just some idiot, living paycheck to paycheck in this capitalist Hellhole, who copes by pretending to actually be somebody important online. @@MyFiddlePlayerthe only basis we have for the OP being petty is in response to MIL being petty and his wife agreeing with her arbitrary pettiness to be a dick to her own child, at Christmas, because she dislikes how many gifts the kid was gettingwhile trying to disguise it behind the poorest attempt at a "moral life lesson" smokescreen. OP simply took her own dick logic and used it against her, and shockingly she didn't like the taste of her own medicine. OP may be petty, but he wasn't the one to initiate. That said, find it hard to believe this came out of left field. Surely there's a history of MIL being petty and the wife going along with it and supporting her.
@markwilson4078

I would agree, except the mother would probably try to take the kid from OP as a result of that divorce and make him pay her alimony. If she was supporting her mother over her own daughter, I wouldn’t put it past her to pull that stunt off should he try to divorce her. Also, even if he comes away with his daughter and tries to give her a better mother, he would need to find a woman who loved him for him, something that I find pretty hard to do.

4:26 I had a frenemy in middle school Let's call her G. G would bully me and sometimes it got physical but she was a girl so couldn't do anything. One day I tried standing up to her and G kicked me in the groin as hard as she could. She taunted me and dared me to do something but I just slunk away with what was left of my pride. My sister S was a tomboy, she liked to scrap with the rest of us and usually won. When she heard what G did she got my cousin C, went to G's house and beat the living tar out of her. They told G she could pick on me or ridicule me all she liked but if she laid hands on me one more time they'd come back and finish the job. So I guess that's also a Latinos deal with things.

I don't like how far I had to scroll before finally finding a comment about this. What the OP did in the first story was way beyond petty revenge. Yes, what the guy did was wrong. But what she did was incredibly worse. And how the guy's friends and security were laughing about it doesn't sit right. I wonder if security would have laughed it off if the roles were reversed.

Had to dig for the rest of the story as it was removed from Reddit, but here y’all go: “Well, when he got back he somehow found out my mom called CPS so at the bus stop before school he sucker punched me. I was down on the ground. Everyone saw it but I didn't say anything to anyone our teacher happened to be a close friend of my mom and her husband works with my dad, so if I said something my parents would've found out instantly. We get home and a kid goes straight to his mom and our backyards connect, so he says OP got sucker punched by bully at the bus stop this morning. She calls my mom and my mom goes to the worst area of Detroit hires 2 kids the same age as him for $20 each to come and beat him up and told him not to even look at me again. Then drops them back off. That's how Italians deal with things.”

I love opening gifts I never got to do it much. My parents would give gifts but they would put all of my gifts in one box tape it up and have me wrap the gifts for everyone since I was 7. My older brother got individually wrapped gifts that I of course wrapped. I would also wrap their gifts for friends and family. Even married I don't get to open gifts since my husband won't do it because he is bad at it. For birthdays my parents used bags but they are so cheep I had to carefully pull out the paper for reuse the bags would also be reused as well.
