I don't like how far I had to scroll before finally finding a comment about this. What the OP did in the first story was way beyond petty revenge. Yes, what the guy did was wrong. But what she did was incredibly worse. And how the guy's friends and security were laughing about it doesn't sit right. I wonder if security would have laughed it off if the roles were reversed.

Story 6: this works out better in OP's favor, as if he did end up staying with his mistress, they'd have to find a new place to hide as I'm sure his ex would've pursued him for alimony

My former stepdad's side of the family decided to just, not give me gifts on christmas when I was like, 6-7. My half brother got a bunch of stuff while I got nothing that year, less than a year later my mom divorced him.

To the gift story. That mother in law would faint at all the gifts I got on chrismas alone. I was the only kid on my dads side. I was one of three grandkids total on my moms side. To say I got the lion share would be an understatment

For Maureen. Better revenge? Dump one bucket of grapes on the ground and stomp all of them. Simply to piss her off. Add the petty to petty revenge

It would have been crazy if Maureen from the "picking all the grapes" story would have passed away that year this proving her crazy theory about her magical fruit juice.

Last story. I doubt very much that was the first time those two secretaries trash talked about people who came to the worksite. OP claims they had a good rapport with them, so it's not a stretch to imagine that OP has joined in the mockings in the past, but when it's about a long-time friend they get offended.

Been watching RSlash back in the days when he would sometimes air stories that were just blatantly fake and laugh at them and hot damn story one takes the cake for the fakest story I've heard in a hot minute! Wish he had some commentary because that shit only needed a "And then everyone clapped" to put the cherry on top.

The Antigrinch story: I love that OP took back the bag he bought for MIL and threw her words back at her. But he should have taken whatever he'd bought his wife too. How do you allow your mother to treat your own child that way and not say anything?

Im with the uncle advise. Totally agree with @rSlash And you can get more of the realistic explanation about your dad. I get dad trauma I have 2 that abandoned and or abused me. Gaining an uncle could be an awesome thing, maybe something you need just didn't know it. When your fathers are trash, you convince yourself you dont need that strong responsible male roll model. Sending my best ❤

Had to dig for the rest of the story as it was removed from Reddit, but here y’all go: “Well, when he got back he somehow found out my mom called CPS so at the bus stop before school he sucker punched me. I was down on the ground. Everyone saw it but I didn't say anything to anyone our teacher happened to be a close friend of my mom and her husband works with my dad, so if I said something my parents would've found out instantly. We get home and a kid goes straight to his mom and our backyards connect, so he says OP got sucker punched by bully at the bus stop this morning. She calls my mom and my mom goes to the worst area of Detroit hires 2 kids the same age as him for $20 each to come and beat him up and told him not to even look at me again. Then drops them back off. That's how Italians deal with things.”

third story: I love the most that OP got sucker punched by the bully and instead OP mom go to the school or confront the bully herself she just hired two kid the same age to beat up the bully the funny part she made sure the two kids was the same age cause she could easily gotten grown man to beat up the bully but she choice kids the same age and the bully was bully his sister, he desever it

the hell is up with that wife in the christmas story? if someone got me, or my kid, a gift that they really wanted, as in, ALREADY PAID FOR AND WRAPPED AND EVERYTHING, then suddenly *decided* they don't deserve it anymore, without anything happening between them to cause that, i'd be livid. you can't just pull the rug out from people that way, it's just assholish.

11:35 I mean, that's going off the assumption that the neighbor already knew he was married. It's possible that she thought he was single and so, when learning that he wasn't, also kicked his lying butt to the curb.

Fourth story: I would have gone pro revenge on the toxic inlaw and give the enabling wife an ultimatum, is her daughter or a divirce and tell the daughter how easy she sided with the woman who took her present away for her to prefer be with me. Besides, who does she think she is to think she can parent others' kid, even if is her grandkid.

I love opening gifts I never got to do it much. My parents would give gifts but they would put all of my gifts in one box tape it up and have me wrap the gifts for everyone since I was 7. My older brother got individually wrapped gifts that I of course wrapped. I would also wrap their gifts for friends and family. Even married I don't get to open gifts since my husband won't do it because he is bad at it. For birthdays my parents used bags but they are so cheep I had to carefully pull out the paper for reuse the bags would also be reused as well.
