Seriously great content! Exactly what I was looking for. Loved the step by Step. Can you please answer this, if I need to connect to a third party like Snowflake in the script it breaks the CMD or .BAT file. They execute and create a .ROUT file, but doesn't have anything in it. When I run the Rscript with the connection to Snowflake the file works no problem, AFTER I authenticate. I feel the authentication step is breaking my CMD/.BAT script. Any thoughts on getting around that? If I don't connect, it works, but when trying the code with the connection it doesn't.

I get this error when running the batch file....any reason why this process is finicky per the data and plots but not the Rout file? > plot(cars) Error in (function (file = if (onefile) "Rplots.pdf" else "Rplot%03d.pdf", : cannot open file 'Rplots.pdf' Calls: plot ... plot2 -> plot -> plot.default -> dev.hold -> Execution halted

Very helpful. But I had to add 'setwd("C:\\Users\\Me\ -out")' to get R 3.5.3 to put "my_script.pdf" and .Rdata there. Otherwise they went to C:\R. I suppose this is due to an .Rprofile or some such file that I prefer to ignore until doing so gets in the way of work...

This is a beautiful tutorial and so easy to follow. Really love your whole series on R. Following this tutorial I do have the following question. Now that we can schedule scripts to run on demand an in issue that I am having is trying to non interactively authenticate my google sheets request/token...I have searched the web and it dosnt make sense like your tutorials....Wondering if you would produce a tutorial ?
