You know it was actually really hard for them to shoot that scene in Forrest Gump. The run was going to actually be cut from the film because it was so expensive to shoot in all those locations that the studio was never going to fund it. So the crew filmed in secret, took Tom Hank's brother as a running double and shot the whole thing in a few days without the Studio finding out about it. The Studio only found out about it when the last shot, the Monument Valley scene, was set to filmed, and Zemeckis paid for it himself cus filming there comes with a pretty big bill.

Lumo, something you might not know: bees don't actually make hexagonal combs intentionally. The way they build them is actually circular. Pressure from adjacent cells (chiefly caused by weight) and the natural flexibility of wax causes them to deform into the hexagon, as it is the most efficient natural use of space, and hence the state of lowest energy level. If they were made of a different, more rigid material, the would look like rows of tubes.
