8:25 When I clearing the Y DLC Course I was mostly using the Charon R-Fighter the combo of the Lightning Wave Cannon for crowd control and the Anchor Force for focus firing made this boss really satisfying to pattern and take out. 12:00 The Strategic War stages are oddly fun to me when you're taking out those R-Fighters but, it also makes me wish that our ship could take a hit like the enemy's ships can. Imagine if the Concert Master was a "Tank" class of ship where you were able to just kinda get hit like that and not "immediately" die in one shot like a normal shmup. 16:28 Gotta love that R-Type Delta music!

It is interesting seeing the tactics games stuff in finale 2. I didn't play much of tactics but it seems like they did a good job mingling that stuff in. The only gripe (forces aside) I have in stages with R fighters, is that they get HP. I would have liked if they were more akin to our player ship. The gentlest of lacroix ticklings causes catastrophic failure for us. Those R fighters take a beating just like bydo AND they get a force. Development def missed an opportunity to place R fighters strategically rather than just make them uncharacteristically beefy as an enemy. Oh well. Still nice that we get to see them anyway.

Beam Saber Force. Then there's the Beam Ax Force and I think one other in the melee force series. The Neoptolemos wields the Beam Axe Force, which makes it resemble a Zaku from Gundam. It is not an easy ship to use, if your really good with Force manipulation, then launching your Force at the problem is a way to go.

I should really give these recon ships a try. When I got them, I didn’t really like them. Seeing them again though makes it look interesting gameplay wise.
