It's an absolute crime that this has not been re-released on let's say PS3/DryBox360 or PS4/DryBoxOneWhateverX. What a shame...such a great game. But I still hope that this Gemstone of a game will be available in the future....🤔😣🤔

You know, I always loved R-Type but I always sucked at it because I never felt as if I had enough control over the ship. It's like, once you pick up a speed powerup, the ship feels hard to handle. I wonder if they ever made shooters for the PC where you can control them with a mouse? Hmmm...

R-Type Final 1 and 2 both have speed control. You can speed up or slow down your ship as you want.
