@zebjensen4251 Жыл бұрын
@@sirp7394 true enough I just thought I'd point out a t Rex like dino being an herbivore is possible. Though as a side note for the teeth there are animals like fruit bats that are largely herbivorous that have sharp teeth. So it's not impossible it just depends on the diet.
@triggerdude Жыл бұрын
wow really? OMG I didnt know you could tell that!
@Going4Broke2528 Жыл бұрын
@@zebjensen4251 Actually, to my knowledge, Carcharadontasaurus was a carnivorous theropod, like many Tyrannosaurs and similar theropods. However, Therizinosaurus is a great example of a theropod that looks predatory, but is herbivorous. In actuality, we don't know for certain with some creatures, as all we have to go off of is the shape/structure of their teeth, but with certain specimens we can find droppings, or traces of food like plant matter fossilized along with the creature itself, which tells us what they ate. But, for the most part, comparing archaeological findings with our modern understanding of animal biology allows us to make an educated guess, that is generally agreed upon until proven otherwise. Carcharadontasaurus had all the same adaptations other large predatory dinosaurs did, such as it's teeth, shaped for latching onto and ripping into flesh, powerful legs built for running at high speeds, and a body structure designed to keep balance when running at high speeds over long distances. An herbivore's teeth generally are designed for crushing apart tough plant matter, so unless it fed exclusively on specific types of fruit, it having been herbivorous seems rather unlikely based on the shape of it's teeth. These point heavily toward it being a predator, like many of it's close relatives. But you do make a great point, bringing up things like fruit bats, who use sharp teeth for entirely different purposes.
Shouldn't we be REALLY Worried that this actually looks like "Made in Abyss"?? Edit: wow, guys, thanks for 1K!

Wait until you read the manga Basically it’s like Dino Crisis 3, made stuff to terraform a world and develop it- bug chose dinosaurs. The manga has the classic asteroid impact = alien life, just the asteroid is a shell containing a ‘blank slate’ program- aka machines designed to wipe out all artificial life cells on the planet, John Carpenters The Thing style (hence the magma being a way to end it as shown nearly at the end of the ad) They even have a dog-scene like scene in the manga- summary it collapses an entrance to a cave to trap some prey in with it. And you can guess who manages to dig the cave open and releasing this. But it is mostly a wholesome manga series. Mostly, just don’t get too attached to any parental characters. Jk jk, I made it up

I haven't looked into it, but for anyone curious enough, this seems to be from the same creators as some other movies considered "the Japanese Land Before Time", such as Omae Umasou Da Na (You Are Umasou) and Anata Wo Zuto Aishteru (I Will Love You Always) by Ajia-do Animation. Same premise as those, and the animation is identical. Plus, they're based off of a series of children's books by Tatsuya Miyanishi. They are likely using another one of the books to create this film. Can't confirm a lot of this, however. These films only get fan-subs and because of their lower popularity, so most info is untranslated. I only ever discovered them because of seeing a clip with a kick-boxing T-rex. If anything, those films will interest the same people who were by this clip.

The big one is certainly a Ceratosaurus, not only because of the horn, but also the spikes running down it's back. Funnily enough, all three species lived on the Jurassic period ;) Also, of course, Brachiosauruses and bebeh Triceratops/Torosaurus on the end credits, the white one is hard to identify, but it may be another Ceratosaurus
