My fiancés son committed suicide 3 years ago. For us this song isn’t about a breakup, it’s about lost love. She feels so guilty for it. She feels she could have done more. She didn’t mean to let him go… I found this song recently and we listened to it together and cried a healing cry. Slowly she is tending to her inner fire and she grows with strength and love everyday. I never met him, but I feel like I know him. This song basically puts her feelings into words and sounds. I love it. Thank you

She will never forget him, but she can learn to forgive herself... it sounds cliché but it is true. I doubt her son would've wanted her to not be able to ever heal or to be happy again... I was heavily depressed due to a _lot_ of losses of all kinds when 17-18. I've had almost 20 years of Dysthymia, I've recently had as an epiphany. I'm not sure her son would've wanted this life. But he'd be alive but only _FOR_ someone else, not thinking about himself at all. I'm not sure it makes sense to you, I hope it does. Love

How can a song remind me of moments that I miss and make me sway at the same time? Masters of their music, pure respect for the guys!
@13metamorph2 жыл бұрын
this song helped and helps me through my saddest moments in my last 2,5 years. i hadnt known it before, until a friend invited me to her place to cheer me up, cause my relationship began to break. that song encouraged me to go on .... so i did. but i never managed to overcome the deeps and downs, so it seems better to end the toxic relationship finally. i dont understand the whole video, but in parts, i identify me with that guy. calling it quits, regretting it, restarting... god, i wish, fate would finally tell me, if my girl and me are meant to be. if she was cheating me or not. if i can trust her or not.... at least, music is loyal to me. someone sang "music was my first love, and it will be my last".... may it obviously be.
@jeremiahharrington23802 жыл бұрын
if you're questioning your trust in her, that's your answer. I promise, it sucks, but I promise that doesn't get repaired, no matter how hard you try. Of course there's success stories, but few. Twice I tried this. First one was young and so was I, tried again and we couldn't get past it. Second was a borderline personality disaster whom I was madly in love with, tried so many times, she kept reverting to unhealthy behaviors while I was deployed... anyways just move on and save yourself some pain. It took me awhile and I found someone worth the wait. You shouldn't wonder about trust if they are the right person... just move on, it's hard but do it.
