R1Alpha - Worst Ride Ever details R1

I think my Camera had water inside the lens from the rain noticed it was really bright whole video might have to replace go pro :(. Talked about Riding in the Rain Season 3 episode 4 Third season riding a R1 as my first Bike.

To be honest, the owner is a big guy and he seems well built. So the R1 is a perfect fit for him. Even if it's 998cc, doesn't matter the rider modes essentially restrict power and make it feel like a 600cc. So all the haters can hate, but his life, his choice. If we all did the same thing, the world would be a boring place.

Even still, scared of the bike, riding that clutch even when making turns afraid to stall it, and even though I am aware of why he grips the throttle that way, still drives me nuts, I did it for the first week when I first started riding because of how sensitive it can be, but simply quit it and started gripping it normally, its more natural, comfortable and precise, all it takes its self control and a bit of confidence, whether he is afraid to go through the gears or not regardless of speed, to each their own, I personally find it fun to go through gears and rev match, so I ain't hating, I get it ego can play a big role in taking advice, after 2 years same mistakes guess it makes no difference now. Just hope he still at least riding safe.

I’m looking to get my dream bike, the R1 from 2015-2020. Any long term issues I should know about? Also, I notice you live in Jersey. I live in New York City, so do you think full coverage insurance for this bike will be high as hell? I’m only going to be 31 when I get the bike. Thanks in advance.

nice and full.coverage for me is like 100 a month and I'm 27 so I don't think you will have a problem

R1 Alpha Really? Damn, when I had Geico for my 2011 CBR600rr, they wanted to charge me $500-$600 for full coverage insurance. It was ridiculous! So I just liability which was $70 a month.

R1 Alpha Well when the lady in the insurance company pulled up my driving record, she said it showed zero violations. I never had any incidents with motorcycles before. I don’t know if my car driving record affects motorcycle insurance but yeah, I found that to be a little too crazy for them to charge me those prices
