I couldn’t believe how stunning that R1 looks in real life! Fabulous job. Dave the sidecar dog…. Lovely. Oh at 2am it wasn’t quiet where we were…..Snoring was epic 😂😂😂 it drowned out the bike😂😂😂.

13:18 Glad you met Dave the side car dog. His owner is also called Dave, I camped at the Isle of Man TT with him. Having just ridden from Morocco to the TT, all he had to wear were his riding gear and a nun's habit, which he wore all week. Top guy. Maybe one year Carol & I may give the Dragon a go

A bit off topic, but I was wondering how the sheep skin seat cover is when wet?

The idea is the water sits on top and easily brushes off if it’s left on in a downpour it eventually soaks - so I put a bag over it if I’m leaving the bike in the rain

@Paul Lewins I wouldn't recommend letting it get wet if you can help it. I carry a lightweight cover for the bike, and if it's raining heavily when I park up I take it off all together. Mines a two minute job to refit it. Also, lots are dyed so you could end up with black dye on your riding suit. Having said that I wouldn't ride without one now. 👍

Same rules apply, get the seat as dry as you can before starting off, fit the (dry) sheepskin on the seat, and sit on it! 🤣 I've ridden plenty of times in rain with it on, (once torrential on a motorway) and it was mostly dry when I reached my destination.Maybe I have a big butt 🤣 They seem to do a good job on sheep all year round 🤣

Yeah Liz you over packed, but hey... you had extra to go around if one of your mates ran short, so Kudos for thinking ahead on packing extra grub. ... Oh yeah, .... In my books, a dry ride and a dry camp are good. I've ridden, at hwy speeds, in down pours where the water on the main route is about 3 to 4 inches deep, and it's dark out. Stay Safe.

It’s handy I guess to know how much I can get on the bike even if I don’t use it, and it was lucky because some of the excess kit was helpful to my group so not a waste to carry 😊

Hi, you know pinky is an Elton John song, and a good one. Motorcyclists playing are the coolest people. I don’t know what you did to get punished so badly, but I hope you vegan punishment is over now. Thanks for uploading, had a smile the whole time. If you are nervous and dirt or mud get your self a small (125)dirt bike and go play in the mud, it will improve your road bike skills more than you can imagine. Have fun, live long.

My wife has had veganism for a few years now, more than I care to remember, one thing that I do like is vegan chocolate. Normal chocolate 70 - 80% is best for me. Monty Bojangles and several other are very nice. However vegan cheese is not very good so far.

Vegan cheese is so disappointing but slowly I am finding which ones I like, the same with the chocolate - but it is not as nice so I’m less inclined to snack on cheese and chocolate, which I suppose is a good thing, now I snack on tomato’s

It's not a rally for Beginners. Weather and site this year were perfect....some years, the weather is Biblical, and the camp site can be challenging. Come to a difficult one and see how you describe that.

The video title was meant to be satirical 😬 I was at 2020 and 2022, 2020 I lost my tent and slept in the marquee, 2022 I learned my lesson and had a much better tent but still got soaked through 😂 so compared to those years, this year was beginner friendly
