That car is a mopedcar. You can drive them from age 16 in Norway, if you get the license for it. They have become pretty popular last 2 years, as they can be used during the winter compared to regular scooters/mopeds. Or well, you could drive a moped during the winter but it's not really pleasant with 20cm snow and -10 to -25 degrees. Awesome vlog!

Sounds like you would have loved riding over the mountains in late may or early june when the roads are plowed and open for the season with 10 feet of snow as walls along the road.

Liz if your chain is lubed as required and correctly adjusted after initial bedding in you should easily get a thousand miles touring no worries.

I love your touring series but I just want to say for your next one. Learning to adjust your chain is very easy but also quite important when you tour you usually need very few tools and you don't need to lift the rear end of the bike to do it.

Obviously this was a few days ago. Keep the chain in order I had mine snap during my return from North Norway. I was extremely lucky to be able to fix it on my own at the side of the road.

Yes the views blow ya away, it was my 2nd time riding over there but my good friend Mark was his 1st time into Norway. He was stopping every time a great picture shot presented itself and was like a kid in a candy shop 😂

love the scenery and such! One thing I will note though, little hard to hear your commentary; if you had the time, would be cool to have voice over after you shoot, just easier to hear over the hum of the boat and such. *edit-the sections not on the boat are fine, except with heavy winds keep on riding!!

You're doing great! I wondered if the ferries in Norway are about the same price as in the UK where it's about £40 to get the Isle of Wight and back?
@R1_Liz Жыл бұрын
Hahaaaa no. Ferry’s in Norway are like £5-20. Wightlink is a scam
@Nessaj87 Жыл бұрын
@@R1_Liz Ferry's in Norway is also a scam if you don't get yourself Ferrypay previous to taking the ferry :P Lets say you use 6 ferrys on your trip. They will then send you 6 separate invoices, and for each invoice they add like 6-8 euro for the cost of sending you the invoice. They could have put all invoices in 1 big invoice, or at least all invoices in the same letter. And yes, this happens even though it's the same company running the ferry's. So you have saved yourself a lot of money by fixing that before you took the ferry's.

Norway is notorious for having very few shoulders/rest stops along the county roads. And ofc the ones that appears, have the view blocked by an enormous amount of trees.
