It was accounted that queen blvd is not receiving any r211 option they have r160 cars and it doesn’t make sense to change a fleet thats new tech A/B/C/D are getting r211 as now

Not true because the MTA had replaced Old tech with old tech many times. Plus Queens Blvd has more high ridership than most of the B division lines. Also the B line is not getting R211A because it’s a part time line. Also Coney Island is not getting any new tech yet. The D would get either R160 or R211A.

If the R211s are going to the Queens Boulevard Line. Then I would assign R211s on the F and R lines. R211 would be on the A C F and R lines if the R211s are going to Jamaica yard.

There is no update yet since the MTA hasn’t made any bids to the manufacturers. So it’s unknown for now.
