Is safe to piercing (piercing valve)cooper tube with R290 inside? I see a lot unit with "no piercing r290"

Thank you for your question. Piercing would be required for servicing of the equipment only and must be removed after service. Follow the service and repair guidelines document on leerinc.com for proper setup, accessing and removal of the piercing valves.
