R32 Skyline - Install Maxpeedingrods Turbocharger RB20/RB25 Direct Bolt-On

Welcome to today's video. I'm going to install Maxpeedingrods RB20/RB25 Turbocharger direct bolt-on. I hope a brand-new turbo should solve the white smoke issue.
Advice of the day: Never buy used parts. Especially for a drift missile because it puts alot of stress on the engine and suspension. You want your parts to last to the finished line. Do it right the first time and save yourself time and headaches.

Nice! I was looking at possibly getting that since I'm using a stock turbo that is old. This seems like a great option for the money if it lasts.

The price is affordable and I think it will last if the driver doesn't abuse it every day lol. If the turbo lasts for a while I'll get another one for backup. I don't think I want to go over 400 hp anyways. 350-380 hp I'm more happy.

I'll keep everyone updated on the Maxpeedingrods turbo. You should get one. It doesn't break the wallet as much and it's direct fit so you're all good.

No, I didn't clock the turbo. Installed as is.

I love the response on the HKS turbo. No lie. The turbo seal went bad and I need to find someone who can rebuild it. The Maxpeedingrods turbo claimed to be 500 hp max 20 psi.🤷‍♂️ Just have to see on a retune. 😁 I ask my tuner and he said I might can get a 330-350 hp range with my mods. For anything higher, I'll have to do head studs and hg.

No issues at the moment. I'm running about 14 psi. Upgrading soon to their GT3582 and goal to reach at least 400 HP.

I can't see the "much bigger" Maxspeeding in outer diameter is bigger however we can see that the inna diameter is tapered.

how many psi did u use in this setup? and in what rpm did it reach the full spool?

Did you run into any issues using the stock coolant lines to the turbo?

I didn't use the stock coolant line for the turbo because my engine is a non-turbo version. I had to buy an aftermarket turbo lines kit that comes with oil and coolant lines. But if you want to know if the stock coolant line fit for the turbo I purchased from Maxpeedingrods I think it should fit because it's a direct bolt-on.

Any update on this ? I got this turbo for my r32. Do you think it would work on a top mount manifold? Or would I need new lines

So far, the maxspeedingrod turbo is working out just fine. No, this turbo can only work for bottom mount turbo but I'm going to upgrade the gt35 for top mount.

@@nissanloveR32 I'm hoping the GT35 might hit from 400-500 and depending on mods support. Recommended head gasket and studs for more hp.
