R5-D4, BD-72, & Pit Droids (Star Wars Black Series) - REVIEW

Glad you got some pit droids Matt. I have two of the pit droids that came out with the galaxy edge droid packs 2 yrs ago. They are a bit tricky to pose, but the legs aren't loose like yours. I'll be opening my target pack soon, so I'll see if mine are loose too.

Yeah, those little guys are really neat. Fun figures! I may snag the Disney droid pack if I can find it for a decent price. The only thing about that pack is it contains two figures that are an absolute pain to stand - the KX droid and the the Battle Droid. Hopefully the legs on yours won't be loose. Great looking droids. There’s always something special about droids/robots in Star Wars compared to other series that can’t be replicated. But with that being said the price point of $44.99 is crazy this set should be at most $29.99. Thanks for the video as always Matt! 🤝🏼

I totally agree. So many of the Star Wars droids have such a unique look and personality. As for this set - it's cool. I grabbed it when it was on sale for $35. That was a little better. $45 is a little steep for an astromech and some smaller droids. I appreciate you watching, Matthew!

Great review as always Matt! I got my R5 droid pack last week and it’s so fun. I have the same issue with my pit droids too, both have dodgy legs. They look so great on the shelf! Really hope we do get a Peli figure soon.

Great review Matt. The Pit droids are my favorites, but they are SO delicate I constantly felt like I was going to Snap something off even though I was being careful with them-and I never was able to fold them up properly LOL!. Oh well I tried. Thanks for sharing Brother!. 👍👊

@@Matt_Bryant It does look a fun set. I've never had a pit-stop droid before. I think there was maybe 2 previously? I think I heard that somewhere in the last day or so, as I was under the impression there was only one before this set. As to cancelling that bit of dialogue, I'd go as far as cancelling the whole of Season 3!! Dreadful rubbish and such a let down. The Mandolorians could never go home, because.... none of them actually bothered to see if they could go home?... 😕 And do not get me started on J. Black and that Bizzy Woman... 😃 😀 😄

Folding up those little Pit droids can’t quite make what we see in movie. It’s okay. I’d rather display them working on stuff or banging on each other. I did get the Disney park set a couple times so I have a third and forth. The paint isn’t quite right for Pelli’s droids. I may repaint. It is at least different. I’m going to be quite sad if 2025 comes and goes and neither/nor Carson Teva or Pelli Motto aren’t made. Come on Hasbro! I am quite biased. Prequel/OT/Mandoverse are my preferred story eras. Bring on Nien Nunb, Luminara Unduli, and Pelli/Carson. Scratch every itch. In theme with the droids of those eras: QT-KT (used in comics too), Medical droid to fix up Luke, 8-D8 to be snarky in Boba’s court. Brings em on!

Yeah, you can't make them totally flat. I also prefer having them up looking confused or fixing something. There are quite a few key characters we still need from The Mandalorian - Carson and Peli are much needed. As well as season 3 Greef to go with R4-6DO. And yes, more droids in general please!
