With the standard Mini brake set up and the Budweg calipers, the pedal feels a little spongy with the need to move more fluid I presume. There is a fix using an M3 servo and master cylinder I believe but I’ve never fitted it so don’t know what it entails. Other than that the braking power now is amazing.

Great video. Do you know how much wider these are than the stock calipers. My rota Kyusha wheels only clear the stock brakes by about 5mm

Sorry but I unfortunately don’t know the difference in size and we no longer have the car to measure them for you. But at an educated guess I think your wheels are a bit too close to fit them.

do you think these calipers with a 285mm disk would fit inside a 16 inch wheel? in terms of width i don't care but i am concerned about the diameter

Depends totally on the inner architecture of the wheel really. If it has the back spacing it may work but some wheels are thicker than others...

How are this budweg, are they good enogh for track use on a mini cooper s r53, or i need to go for oem jcw or the vmaxx big brake, what do you reccomend?

Did you have to use a spacer to clear your wheel's?

No spacers were needed for my standard 17” wheels but I can’t speak for all wheels whether they’re standard or aftermarket.
