Being a VP (and Team Empire) fan for many years, I've come to expect ridiculous outcomes like this. Got a little lucky on a couple of rounds with misplays by SSG (Forrest's Blitz push into coat check when Fultz threw a Candela at Dan AFTER the Blitz was already in and was thus killed; solo pushing Joystick with ~5 seconds left in train in a 2v1), but have to give it to the boys for having the composure to fight back from a 1:5. Will have to say that VP's path thus far has been super difficult. sQ (NA #1 seed), FaZe (BR #1 seed), SSG (a very good team), and now BDS (EU #1 seed) next. Two chances at one Bo3 win to make SI, too!

I've been an Empire/Virtus Pro enjoyer for a very long time. I'm glad to see them doing well, even if I predicted against them. They are undisputably one of the greatest teams of all time, and they have to be the one with the most longevity.

I think they very much still have potential for a solid run. They lost 2 overtime Bo1s against decent teams to go 0-2, it could have been a lot worse.

Yesterday had some crazy matches SSG throwing a 5-1 role swap losing 6 rounds in a row... JoySticks 4k was pure insanity And G2 being Bullied by Soniqs while Rexes was more about shouting at them then playing the game, he was so toxic i wished they would have dropped at least one map so Rexes would just stop shouting.

Ramalho is a terrible coach who doesn't believe in his players. They need a culture change, and that starts with the coach. They are good mechanically, which is why they can go on runs. But it's no wonder that they lose big games. They just can't be prepped enough without a decent coach.

I agree. Weird that they win si with fabian as coach who really harped in on the players. As much as people do and dont love him for his personality. His attitude and performance were clear. Which is why pag talon are pretty solid unfortunately didnt make this major but it seems g2 lacks that mentality i even stated this before in another video but g2 has talent clearly. They dont have drive to want to win. They expect to win because they are “g2” and thats just from what i have watched. And i love g2 i watched nearly every game from penta-g2 just sucks to see 0-3

but the positions you placed in the previous video are different from those that result in this one, do you still earn all those points? or do they give points for each classified team, for example w7m in the previous video predicted that he came third, but in this one he will come first but you will still earn a point?

If you correctly predict a team to make top 8 but you get their score wrong (3-0, 3-1, or 3-2) you get 1 point. If you correctly predict a team and their score you get 2 points.

I get why this format exists, but for the life of me i cant understand why tf NA and LATAM get almost half the slots, as 3-4 teams from those regions into these phases, whilst other regions (oce) only get given 1. If every region had 2 or more slots, things would be more competitive. MENA and OCE deserve more representation. And now sadly, i have to watch them face possible Elim because LATAM walk their way through whilst NA waste all their slots floundering at the bottom...

It’s simply because of viewership. Oce gets no viewership and is plainly boring to watch. If they ever win a major they will bring them more spots just like they did with brazil

@ViperRUSTzz fair. I know LATAM went through the same ordeal. This is the first year OCE has been its own region. Prior to this we were lumped in with APAC and SEA, and 90% of those teams dropped AU/NZ players for more "local" players, hell OCE has players on international teams, like team Secret for example having Virtue, and Jigsaw used to play EU before being asked back for Chiefs. But for OCE this year has been an exciting year, we've had epic storylines, revenge arcs, returning exports that want to get OCE noticed, and a truly exciting season because of it. And tbf, I've watched international leagues, the NA league is more boring to watch. Except with similar storylines like with Canadian going from DZ to Soniqs, akin to what happened here with Odah going from Bliss to Chiefs.

@@canonmac5429 OCE has the most entertaining production and casters/analysts of any region IMO. It just feels like you're hanging out and bantering with your friends for a few hours. But the quality of Siege (from top to bottom...the top 2 teams are excellent) isn't the best.

I was a bit against Swiss system early when they started using it in aoe2, but it's grown on me you are getting many decent matches early and it's up to the team to determine their own destiny. PS go penguins!

It is such a w format
