I love dropping hatches with maverick because he can break hatches with almost no sound so if you drone in or have teammates as a distraction you can pull off a sneaky 2 or 3 kills from one hatch Extension: With good enough recoil control you can run silencer and horizontal grip on either the DMR or the M4 and maverick works as a good rusher

Hey a quick tip! At 10:30 you don’t need to destroy the barricade completely to jump in, you can hit it 2 times and then it lets you jump in instead of hitting it 3 times

If your team has soft breach utility, make the reinforced walls soft by Taking out the Top and bottom of the wall and you can do this with any hard breacher but it is effective for Maverick. If you want to get a crouch/vault hole, then make a rough outline of one because surfaces require itself to be connected to something unless it breaks.

Quick tip for Mav, make all the holes you’re gonna use first so they don’t know which one you’ll peak. If you only have one hole they’ll just prefire you.

@@KarlDane_ Also, Mav is great for anti Bandit tricking. Place a claymore against the hard wall being tricked and them mav a hole to let the lasers go through. Just make sure to be far enough so you don’t blow up with it🤣

Compensator and vertical grip is great on the M4 since the recoil likes to hang right. Has manageable vertical recoil so overtime you'll be able to run angled or horizontal grip The AR.50 has one of the highest dmr recoil kicks, but depending on what you want to use mav for, the suppressor can be traded out with the muzzle break and that'll allow you to use angled or horizontal grip for more aggressive playstyle. Mind you these are both some of the best guns in the game at the moment, but really it's about gunskill to prove that fact.

With Maverick you could play him a few ways, creating lines of sight, opening small rotates or a counter to any Defender tricking a wall. Use the M4 most of the time with the 2x scope, silencer and vertical grip, those plays with the smokes were great! I suggest that you get inside of the building and use Maverick’s Torch to open small holes to see into site, Maverick is great for opening those lines of sight on external walls but when you play Maverick as a stealthy Operator then you can get creative. Instead of standing still and using the Torch I recommend that you aim where you want the line of sight and just move without moving the camera, that way you are a little safer and you can easily crouch to avoid the Opponents. Maverick is a situational Operator, you have to have great map knowledge and understanding of what the Opponent might do.

You should start working on quick peaks to improve your gameplay. They can be used to gain intel into a room with no drones left or to get some sneaky shots off at an enemy. To do it, lean towards the angle you want to peak around, move towards that angle until you can see around it, and then as soon as you get a view around lean back the other way while taking a few steps away from the corner. For example, if I wanted to quick peak to the right, I would start leaned right with my reticle just before the edge of the corner. Then I would take a step to the right to peak around the corner. As soon as I get a look at what is there, I would lean left while stepping to the left (this generates the speed to bring your head back to cover) and the lean right again to prepare for another. Once you get good you can start shooting from them and give yourself the peakers advantage in every fight.

A better way to use maverick the way your intending is in combination with another operator like glaz we throw 1 smoke maverick around crouch height in site and keep smoking while glaz kills any peekers. Another way to play would be utilizing your torch to make circle holes big enough to crouch into certain areas a perfect example of this is the external reinforcements on dirt in clubhouse when the defenders are playing church arsenal
