Does anyone remember when people actually appreciated someone putting work into their videos instead of making some subpar 30 sec video to post on tiktok with a shitty lofi beat in the background?

I tried putting a lofi beat in the background while editing and the video is so content dense that it just wouldn't work. A monotone voice, lofi, and stating exactly what happens on your screen as plainly as you can takes you so much further. Guess the generational gap is too big.
