It turns out the puppets where thrown out after the show ended and Ratafak was found by whoever found him. There's a lot of explaining about Ratafak, I recommend you watching blameitonjorge's video on Ratafak.

I honestly can't tell if their speaking Czech or Slovak because at that time it was Czechoslovakia. I know the languages are similar but they are different though. I was surprised stuff this aired especially in communist country where in those countries they just air propaganda and nothing fun or entertaining.

Polish is also the same group of Slavic languages. But for me Czech is damaged Polish and some Polish words mean something different in Czech. Maybe same family but i cant understand any of them. Maybe a bit, it needs some logic. Poland had funny shows but more like cabarets and ancient cartoons. And most of all sitcoms with children. Too bad that its all gone. 90s had educational programs too (thats why i call it idealism, right after communism died, idealism came. Together with Disney). Communism wasnt so tough but Poland had a lot of bloody episodes (so called "war state", not sure of translation in early 80s, protests of youth in 60s and physical workers in 80s). Poland hated communism. Im lucky i was born in idealism (love love peace peace and Disney movies). But kinda miss all these lovely comedies and elegant songs (60s and 70s)...
