Such an amazing game, definitely going for chonky bits, so much more satisfying. I'm going with the expansion because I'm already backing the base game and it doesn't add any shipping cost. I'm with you - not sure how much it will add / subtract but I want to table it a couple times before I know for sure.

How I see the Traders expansion is if early 2 of those are out early during a round then someone might declare Ra early to get them. It also seems to help players having harder times deciding if they would let a players with low tiles which keep spamming the Ra get those or not. It is always a gamble as you are never certain to see more of those even if you picked them early. IMO it looks like a nice addition to the game but we'll need to wait and play with it to see for certain of how it plays out.

As an original backer, it's a bit frustrating they offered an all in one box acrylic option. Your one cube challenge slapped ❤

why, the wooden Pharaoh edition is better than the acrylic version.
@ChitsandCardboardАй бұрын
@@chuckturdburger4612 True, but it basically makes it inaccessible as an option. Acrylic tiles all-in-one box would be favorable for most, I imagine.

So if you get the acrylic edition you are out of the expansion because of the material and size difference right?

I don't understand your question, can you rephrase it?

The expansion is included in the acrylic edition with acrylic tiles.

Yes I just saw it on the campaign page. I think that for 10 more bucks its the best value option.

@@mr.miki.73 Yeah. Both deluxe options are intriguing. The publisher posted some instagram videos showing the difference between the tiles. The acrylic version looks different from the renders on the Kickstarter. Instead of clear acrylic, the back side has an attractive cream background and looks similar in substance to a thinner and rounded mahjong tile. I suspect shuffling the bag of acrylic tiles with one hand will feel nicer as well. The wooden tiles otoh may stack easier with one hand when grabbing the winnings from the auction. Plus, there's more consistency with all the other wooden components in the game too.
