Its not that he already forgot abt you. He misses you deep down and doesn’t want to admit it, and is therefore resorting to trying to fill the part you filled in his life with someone else, resulting in future failure. Love is only one sided if you know it deep down and it was your reason for the break up. Guys always want to maintain their ego and do anything to keep their emotional status amongst people high so they act all non chalant. But from experience that ive literally been admitted to by my ex that is currently working things through with me again, admitted that men will always resort to anything temporary, knowing its not gonna be the same. Just remember that at the end of the day, you are the one on his mind, not her. Ik its easier said than done, but distract yourself. Dont think abt him, dont text him, dont stalk him, cut completely contact with him and focus on yourself. Its the best thing you can do for yourself.
