I am not even comparing anyone here but this remake pf manichithrathaazhu would have been classic if it was shot with ganga as the lead. Instead of that the director try to elavare rajini sir's character and used his demigod status for the success of the film. That's what I miss in this film. In malayalam cinema 2 superstars mohanlal sir and suresh gopi sir gave space to Shobhana to perform and gave complete focus on her even though she was a budding actress .. In an era where superstars rule , the makers took the risk of taking a film which was female oriented. Even though Chandramukhi was released in 2005 ( I don't know exact year ) where society started changing, they didn't took the risk. Instead rajini sir played every character. He is the doctor, hero, villain , king , saviour etc etc.. 😂😂😂 and that's what I miss in this film and instead of thelat Jo was remarkable❤
