They are so appreciatve of talents that they forget themselves while listening to talented artists. Especially l have seen them uttering Waah hundreds of times while madam Savaniji was singing. Sampoorna jati means the raga in which all sevan swaras are included..

7 notes are there. Up and down. 7-7 is the sampurn jaati raaga. That means 7notes while going up, 7notes while going down. Raagas can be 7-7, 6-7,7-6, 6-6, 5-7, 7-5, 5-6,6-5, 5-5 etc. All combination with 5/6/7.

Very nice. My opinion is that Ragas do not have a specific time for singing. It is rather that when you sing the raga perfectly, it brings a feeling in the listener that it is night, morning, or evening or raining etc.
