Pandit Venkatesh Kumar, Pandit Kumar Gandharv, Ustad Nasir Hussian Khan Sahab, Satyasheel Deshpande, Ustad Rashid Khan, Malabika Kanan, Hirabai Barodkar sbhi ne bhut sundar gaya hai isko. Original bandish is of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana and of Muslim origin. All other singers copied but none could cone close to the rendition of that Gharana. All other Pandits can keep trying lol 😆😆

Sir, I listened to it again but except perhaps at the very beginning, I didn't really hear any Carnatic undertones. I have to add that I'm in no way knowledgeable about Hindustani or Carnatic music. Just came across this video. Absolutely delighted and proud to hear the famous most rendition in Raaga Chaayanatt by my great grandfather and a milestone in the history of Classical music and khayal Gayaki, the great Ustad Inayat Hussain Khan sahab, founder of the Sehaswan /Rampur Tradition. With due respect, Fareed sahab didn’t render the complete Sthaayi (Chorus) and, the Antara (verse)was completely changed and not the original one. Overall, a great project and I am always a big fan and admirer of Arif Ali Khan uncle’s overall knowledge, contribution and selfless efforts, towards the upliftment and patronage of classical music and khayal singing💖💖🙏🙏Love and respect, Nadeem Khan (a student and follower of music through the roots of Rampur Sehaswan Gharana)

Dream Journey, I need to recommend you guys something. I felt this in the Shikwa video of Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad as well. Please do not clip the mics onto their shirts. The way you have a mic directly pointed at the Tabla, is how you need to place real mics directly in front of the 2 lead qawaals. Because, if I listen to Shikwa Jawaab e Shikwa by Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad on home theatre system. I can barely hear what they are saying, because the Tabla is so loud and their voices are very low. The sound mixing and mic setup is not perfect. Please fix this issue. Otherwise, thank you for posting! :D
