Oh my God! This Bhindi bazar bandish really rocks! I am a fan of it since I listened to the version by Ustad Nisar Hussain, and a melodious burst of it from his successor Ustad Rashid Khan. But as usual, it reaches a different heaven to me when it comes in your voice ❤

There are different version of the lyrics. The one that is more commonly heard is "lagi lagan pati sakhi". However the original version as written by Ustad Aman Ali Khan is "lagi lagan sakhi pati". We chose to go with the original version ... as explained at 00:15 of the video.
