In some recordings, it is malhar from pa to sa and jaijavanti from sa to pa. The way you have approached this really makes jayant malhar a truly new raag. Very nice ideas.

Very informative video...thank you so much!! From 2:08-3:08 that R G m P m G m R P g m R s....that part is common in Ramdasi Malhar as well. Even in Meerabai Ki Malhar, as Meerabai Malhar is an amalgamation of Ramdasi Malhar and Darbari. Could you kindly tell us the analytics of these two ragas, Jayant Malhar and Ramdasi Malhar especially the above-mentioned phrases, so that we can have more knowledge about it...thank you so much!!🙏🙏

Ok sure. Best wishes. The fact is, I have just tried to follow renditions of each of the malhars discussed recently , by various artists. In the process,I found out that each artist had his own raagdari, the basic matched but at times the raagdaari seemed quite different. .. I believe for these malhars, aesthetics played more important role than only abiding by grammar. For malhars there may be many common phrases, like nDNS' RPgmRS ... many malhars will have these phrases in common. So I tried to be guided by the study of past recordings and my own aesthetics. For jayant malhar, it's for sure a blend of Jaijaiwanti and Miyan ki malhar... the proportion of each Raag depends on us. For meera Bai ki malhar, I would request you to study as many recordings available on KZbin, you will be surprised to hear the different versions, none would match the other.

@@moumitamitramusic Yes indeed! I agree ! There are so many variants of each of these ragas. Even in Charju Ki Malhar...But one thing I must acknowledge, that the only reason I am a big fan of your channel is because of the style of your rendition. Each of the phrases are so magical. And most importantly so crisp for the learners. Lots of respect to your work !!

Thanks for your comment. Yes agree, Charju ki malhar has many variants.. I just managed to put few of them together. Tried to use phrases which sounded very distinct and somewhat unique from each of the recordings I studied.
