The two sisters are gradually entering the deeper waters. There will be stiff challenges of potential plateu situations (where progress will be grinding & slower ) unless they work very hard to increase both their depth and range. The next 2- 3 years will be crucial for the children. But it is CLEAR that they are NO ordinary kids- they are determined, rooted, deeply respectful of elders and gurus. We will all pray that they chart a bold path and AVOID EVERY DISTRACTION THAT THEY INEVITABLY FACE. GOD BLESS THEIR PARENTS. Millions of us will be waiting for their journey to the top. Popular music and glamorous shows shouldn’t distract these young and highly talented singers. There’s nothing like our classical Indian music. It has depth, profundity, grandeur, dignity and beauty that no other music has. It is extremely pleasing to note that they are pursuing classical music and as someone who has watched their progression, I do hope they will henceforward concentrate on this rather than on popular music.
