I saw 1k dislikes. It's really really really very painful. If I don't know that's my limitations. I've no right to dislike. Every other day I look for this piece. Bcuz strings of my heart vibrates with them. They've practiced very well though they are young. I've tried to find boy singers other pieces but failed. It would be a great loss if he stopped singing. Both the singers are highly talented. I didn't have any idea about hindolum & southern music though I listened extensively to Pandit Balamuralikrishnan but all of those are hindi or northern classic - I'm very big fan of him. After listening this piece of hindolum, it's unbelievably awesome, I'm very fan of this lady, hindolum & thillana. Wow What a rhythm - unforgettable. Sorry I used to forget names, shame on me, I can't explain how I feel when this lady sings, what a voice & it's perfect implementation, what a length & deep the voice is!!!!!! Astonishing. At this age the lady is great, great & great.

I better not watch anymore classical Indian music today. Saumya’s voice was so pure, so flawless, I actually shed a tear. Avinash also proved his mettle! After the beautiful jugalbandi between Mridangam and Tabala, it kinda takes off the last 90 secs or so. Can't really express the feeling. A jugalbandi or jugalbandhi (Devanagari: जुगलबंधी, Urdu: جگلندئ‍) (Bengali: যুগলবন্ধী) is a performance in Indian classical music, especially the Hindustani classical music, that features a duet of two solo musicians.[1][2] The word jugalbandi means, literally, "entwined twins." The duet can be either vocal or instrumental. What we have here is not Jugalbandi but double Jugalbandi or "CHUGALBANDI" a double duet of to vocalist and two musician (flute & Sitar). A unique performance.

Dr Avinash Kumar and Madam Soumya .. what a classic jugalbandi. I have been listening for several times. The music hands like flute, sitar, Pakhauja and Tabla are mesmerizing too. Long live the tradition. If you want to listen before 1700 AD Indian music, then listen Karnataki music.
