Random tank fact #3: The Raam Segol actually is very unique among tanks because of the Active Protection System that it used which is where the name Raam Segol comes from, it’s the name of the Active Protection System. It is not implemented in War Thunder (probably because it would be kind of annoying) but when the Raam Segol’s Laser Warning Receiver picked up a laser being pointed at the tank it would automatically turn its turret towards the threat and shoot off smoke grenades. I believe systems like these are being currently being tested in certain countries but the Raam Segol never made it into service. Also the words Raam Segol translate to Purple Thunder which is where the title you get with this pack comes from. Also awesome video! Btw try the HE-VT round it’s very funny. Also it’s ok multiple of the Merkavas if you don’t feel like playing this one again.

it's a really cool sounding system isn't it. Would definitely wake the turret crew up if it happened and they weren't expecting it! I bet they can really feel it when some of these MBT turrets traverse.

For the LRF i recommend to put middle mouse button as the reset button so that you can zero the tank sight easy.

Great vid man as an ex mk4 and mk3 driver love seeing them on servers but I wish the armor was more realistic in real life it’s much more sound and can take some shots easily

honestly the survivability surprised me, but the shells do feel like your shooting actual shrapnel. good pen but barely any post-pen damage :/

This tank is just a free kill, survaivability is almost zero, it gets shit on by leopard 2a4s and every hit it cripples you or kills you instantly. A glass cannon basically but without the advantages that glass cannons usually have. Gayjin has the most lazy assholes developers ever, they're assholes because it doesn't make any SENSE WHATSOEVER for the pourpose of balancing a game to have vehicles such as this, gigantic in size with poor mobility and at the same time, something defying commons sense, miserable armour. So you basically have nothing to counteract the fact that you are huge and slow. Amazing really. This thing has only a gun and plenty of smokes, that's it. It's useless. If you bounce some shots is just sheer luck. And btw If you're reading this, don't buy it.
