Hei ja tervetuloa jälleen Raamatun pariin! Tänään sukellamme toiseen Mooseksen kirjaan ja luemme luvut 10, 11 ja 12, joissa käsitellään kahdeksatta vitsausta, heinäsirkkoja, sekä Egyptin esikoisten surmaa. Lisäksi siirrymme Apostolien tekoihin, seitsemänteen lukuun, jakeesta 30 eteenpäin. Puhumme siitä, kuinka maailma yrittää vetää meidät pois Jumalasta ja miten ainoa pelastuksen tie on usko Jeesukseen. Jeesuksen armo ja ristin työ ovat kaiken perusta. Keskustelemme myös siitä, mitä on Herran pelko ja nöyryys Jumalan edessä.
Olemme kaikki syntisiä, mutta Jumalan armo on kaikille, jotka uskovat Jeesukseen. Hän ei vaadi meitä muuttumaan etukäteen, vaan hyväksyy meidät sellaisina kuin olemme. Jeesus tuli erityisesti niiden luo, jotka olivat heikoimpia ja vähäosaisimpia, osoittaen, että armo koskee kaikkia. Keskustelemme myös siitä, miten maailma on täynnä vääriä uskomuksia ja symboleita, jotka vievät meitä kauemmas Jumalasta. On tärkeää ymmärtää, että usko Jeesukseen on eri asia kuin uskonto tai kirkko. Jeesuksen usko tuo pelastuksen, ja yksin usko riittää.

Hello and welcome back to our Bible study! Today we dive into the book of Exodus, reading chapters 10, 11, and 12, focusing on the eighth plague, the locusts, and the death of Egypt’s firstborns. We also move to the Acts of the Apostles, chapter 7, starting from verse 30. We'll discuss how the world tries to pull us away from God and how the only path to salvation is through faith in Jesus. Jesus' grace and work on the cross are fundamental. We also talk about the fear of the Lord and humility before God.
We are all sinners, but God's grace is available to all who believe in Jesus. He doesn't require us to change beforehand; He accepts us as we are. Jesus came especially to those who were weakest and most disadvantaged, showing that grace applies to everyone. We also discuss how the world is full of false beliefs and symbols that draw us away from God. It's important to understand that faith in Jesus is different from religion or church. Faith in Jesus brings salvation, and faith alone is enough.
