Spent a month on the island to do a mapping project for university. Loved the island, the people were lovely and welcomed us into the community for the time we were there there. I think if the island often and want to go back but haven’t managed to in the ten years since I was there. Great video

I have been to Skye 3 times and never saw the peaks of the Cuillins. Low cloud, mist and rain every time but it is very beautiful.

@terrifictraveltales I've stood and watched the ferry arrive at and depart from Sconser but, unfortunately, would have been too late to visit the distillery. I'm on their mailing list and regularly hear from them; will definitely visit Raasay one day.

Aw that's a shame. Hopefully, you can visit Raasay and the distillery soon!😊 The distillery's marking list is class. We've seen that they do whisky winter retreats at the hotel/distillery...so hoping to go back to Raasay soon😊
