This movie is a cheap copy of several English thriller dramas and psychological movies. Lots of ideas and scenes are copied right from man pretending to be mommy to psycho kind of kidnapping and sending dolls. That was also in several English movies and serials. I think we should recommend movies that are uniquely Indian and not these kind of copies that they won’t appreciate. Indians haven’t watched many thrillers so they think this is a great new idea but all ideas in movir was a copy.

But you have to understand, that ordinary policeman never killed a man before, and he was frightened to death thats why coudnt shoot the psycho. He is not that level of trained person. Even if you look at common people, some people have the guts to kill their enemy, but some people cant even kill their enemy, even if they have to. Thats only asian people can understand

Well I understand that the points you mentioned are completely valid but the fact is that this was a fresh attempt and a turning point for the tamil film industry...2016 2017 2018 was the time many different styles of films were attempted in tamil cinema...until that point most movies were hero centric movies...so that is the significance of this movie...not in comparison to hollywood psycho thrillers but in comparison with general indian cinema. For some clarifications the cop was under suspension and he didn't officially have the rights to do his job that is why he was trying to convince the arrogant lady who is his superior. Also he cannot just shoot a person even if he is a psycho killer. He had to shoot the pfdo teacher under unavoidable circumstances and still had to face many legal complications and human rights violations allegations. So that is the reason he was trying to make him surrender.

Pretty accurate review 🙏💜I still like the movie a lot even today because the creepiness of the film stays with you and that never gets old.Yes the prosthetics weren't great but to the audience back then it just added to the creepiness and horrific nature of the movie (the villains,victims n the tension throughout the movie)The acting throughout was pretty solid (if you mention the names of the actors in the upcoming reviews that would be great)Yes the makeup does let down the movie especially after the reveal(why didn't they keep the identity a secret till the end or maybe even after)but for the time it was released in ,it was a pretty creditable thriller movie which the makers can be happy about.Also why are some comments asking to not show them 'bad' movies or getting offended by a negative comment on the review...This is a reacting channel,they are adults with brains ,you dont need to make them watch only good movies and get good reviews.Any random negativity can be offset by the positives you see in your favorite movies so defend them if you like but never take away a channel's choice to voice their opinions. 😊🙏❤Have a wonderful day dears ❤🎉

Their reaction is actually good in my opinion. You can be critical of the lead guy in a movie, and he was being passive in many crucial moments of the movie, which just escalated the scenes more dramatically. I don't like the flashback portion in the movie either, it was the predictable "I got bullied as a child so I take revenge on all" concept, which has been in used to death in several movies. Just to make it okay to bully the lead guy has to use a derrogatory term against the antagonist in the end...cadeau to the director for making it okay to bully someone..tsk tsk

Here is my recommendation for a Tamil thriller: *Aadai* . Reviews were alright but it's very underrated IMO. It's really original and the suspense pays off in the end when the reveal happens. The first half is a drama, the 2nd half a thriller. The lead actress is Amala Paul from Ratsasan. Please if you watch it do so with your wife, it has a plot she could enjoy I think. It's not the usual thriller about a serial killer, it's more mysterious + it's a character study with a message.
