I still don’t understand why people call it worst movie. In my opinion either they don’t have the intellect to understand the cryptic narrative of script with symbolism or they did get it and are falling for propaganda spread by some biased group. The script is one version of Ramayana where Rama is the villain and brothers do turn against the family because that’s what vibhishina did to Ravana and Shurpanaka. Writing this to align with today’s culture and from Tamil’s perspective is not easy guys.

​@@alawi1698 imo the betrayal made perfect sense. Dhanush might have been a good brother but he was not emotionally available or expressive to either of the brothers. They both had humiliations bc of him even if it was not his fault. The drunkard brother had more than one flaw that could lead to his reason for action while the other had his intentions buried in him albeit subconsciously. Both brothers were caught in the shock of the moment aided by their own pent up anger towards dhanush which later became a bigger separation due to manipulation of Sethu and the misunderstandings of that.

​@@alawi1698The matter of the villain, which i assume you meant prakash raj, is pretty clear from the start. He gave 0 fcks about the people involved from the moment he killed the remaining hired goond who attacked sethu to start the gangwar. He had no empathy towards "criminals" and they're just his pawns in his grand scheme of cleansing the city as revenge for his father's death. He clearly states in the last scene that he doesn't want to leave loose ends which he follows throughout the movie. So him not trying to kill raayan would be illogical 🤷🏾‍♀️
