The pipers are Alan Young and Warren Robinson - both were probably in the Grade One Cullybackey Pipe Band at that time. I believe Warren may now be the Pipe Major of the young Cullybackey band. Both Warren and Alan would have played in the solos at some point (probably around late 80s / early 90s) - both decent players. I played alongside Warren Robinson and Andy Scullion in Seven Towers Pipe Band around mid 1990s.

In 1994 I DONT KNOW ABOUT ALAN YOUNG BUT 100% Andrew & Warren was guesting with the CULLYBACKEY Caledonia and Reason how I know was at the Worlds CULLYBACKEY Caledonia qualified for Grade 2 final by WINNING THE DRUMMING IN THE MORNING QUALIFYING . . I WAS PLAYING WITH AN AUSTRALIAN BAND. TOMMY AND ANDREW PLAYED WITH TOWERS IN 1992 AT ALL IRELAND. I WAS LIVING IN AUSTRALIA I KNEW THAT😂😂😂

This video is 1993 Won world Adult 1987 1993 1997 ANDREW WON CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS 1990 THEN THE DOUBLE 1993 Andrew runner up Juv Section 1 1979 won Juv Section 1 1980 , WON Section 2 1981 & 1982 ,, WON SECTION 3 IN 1983 FACTS ALL FACTS 15 ULSTERS 15 ALL IRELAND SENIOR LEVEL I DONT KNOW HOW MANY TIMES HE WON ULSTER OR ALL IRELAND JUVENILE TITLES FOR ANDREW PLAYED FROM YOUNG AGE. .. HE ONLY PLAYED IN THE JUNIOR 1 SEASON ULSTER AND ALL IRELAND JUNIOR FOR NORTHERN IRELAND RULES THATS ALL IT TOOK TO GET INTO SENIOR DRUMMING

Andrew is the only NORTHERN IRELAND player to have WON ALL through the Sections in THE Worlds SOLOS and NORTHERN SOLOS Gordon Brown is only Scotsman as far as I'm AWARE THAT HAS WON ALL SECTIONS AT THE WORLD SOLOS. . ALSO 6 OF THE 8 RUNNERS UP SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRSTS AND 1 OF HIS 5THS 4THS AND 3RD. THANK YOU.
