How does one regain his Jewish faith in G-d? My wife of 40 years left me as you say with a blink of an eye. At the funeral I screamed Why G-d. For two years I was lost until I found your sermons and your synagogue. To this I owe you a life now being fulfilled.

the blink of an eye: when the jesus was drawn in lightning twenty years ago, there was time to digest that it was his coming. there was word on angels. also, there was on left behind, and knowing you was, in it seemed half a year on, maybe two or three some version. that might have been more recently.

I find it a wonderful, inspiring message. I think the rabbi, however, misses a key point. The expectation of our redemption preannounces a moment when the Messiah will bring closure to our current unending, unsettling chaos. We live on the expectation of a happy ending. Otherwise, we are not better than those who deny the existence of the Eternal One, BH. Don't you think?
