As reinforcement of your ending words, Rabbi O - the Hamas commander that was captured told the Israelis the arabs were encouraged by the massive protests of Jews against Jews in the past year. Nothing like extreme disunity (putting it mildly) amongst the Jewish Nation to open the gate for the heavenly prosecutor

We had a beautiful chag here in Baltimore, but hearing the news in Israel after the chag was over was devastating. Our tefillot and further introspection on who we are feels like we are going through Elul all over again.
