@@divapriyadarshan1208do you not eat meat or fast food burgers? Cows are just as sweet as rabbits if you’ve never known one. We have to eat. For thousands of years we have eaten meat as humans. My point is, why waste the beautiful pelts when you can make beautiful and useful things? Hundreds of cow hides are thrown away just from the butcher shops in my small county every week. I wish I could save them all and tan them but I’m one person. The animals are killed for meat anyway, we should value the whole animal and find a way to get groups together to use the hides instead of throwing them out. Most rabbit hides are fed to pigs which is fine but I think it’s amazing when we take the time to preserve them.

Why cut leather with scissors? An exact knife and ruler gives perfect lines. Just curious

Because when you sew using a sewing machine you can trim off any excess in the end and it turns out being flush. Its much different than hand sewing.

This is a 4 yr old video so im not sure if this is useful but if have problems with scissors because theyre right handed I'd recommend exacto knives. Theyre also a lot more convenient than scissors when cutting fur as well.
