The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. kzbin.infoUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

MEAT IS MURDER! ...yummy, delicious, organic, non-GMO, murder. Especially a well seasoned rabbit stew in a slow cooker in the winter time, you know, when you get the meat browned up just right first and you go a just a little crazy adding some nice red wine there and you make a batch of homemade bread hits the table still warm with all that and the rest of the wine... Mmmm... yeah... it's that kind of murder. :-p

Why are these rabbits so docile, in Australia you can't get within 60 yards of a bunny.
@animalscars37996 жыл бұрын
Alf Bittner We don't use yards in Australia, it's meters.
@Wookie_oo76 жыл бұрын
Depends on how old Alf is and also what profession he is in. I am currently in a job where we have fittings and such that are measured in inches. It does require a bit of extra maths annoyingly, but it cant be helped

If you shine a light on the rabbit it blinds it so you can get as close as you can
@calvincheng14526 жыл бұрын
I'm not Australian but, I would think its because there are probably less predatory animal where ever they are hunting in the video.
@3asianassassin5 жыл бұрын
@@calvincheng1452 yeah dingoes are fiercer than coyotes, and thanks these shmucks' ancestors, wolves are gone from this region. These rabbits are far easier to get close to.

Fantastic channel you guys got here! I just picked up a bow, mainly for larger game, but still I love watching this! Rabbits are easily my favorite small game to hunt. Subbed for more great hunts! :)

I went rabbit hunting once with a 20 cage breach load beebee sight, nabbed 4 of em but they were split second shots . I mean they were there and than they were gone if you missed. I'm supwr intruged with bows and am looking to buy one soon, but I'm not sure I could get these rabbit out here in Ohio, they run and fast. Cool vid and thank you for saying "may they rest in piece"!

Are the rabbits normally that lethargic because of the temperature or is it being desensitized to humans in the area?
@BrotherhoodoftheBow7 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure. A lot of the rabbits we saw out there would actually start running way before we got to them, some of them maybe just thought if they stayed put we would just pass by them.
@angryagain687 жыл бұрын
This is just normal Desert Cotton Tail Rabbit behavior. They rely on their natural camouflage and holding still to hide them. Often times, they will not run at all until you stop for a few seconds. They start to get nervous then run a short distance. I have had them run right out from a bush next to my foot, and I had no idea they were there until they bolted. Sometimes they will run in a big circle. Often crossing back over the point near where they started to run. Jacks (In my area at least) will not let you get anywhere as close to them "usually". Now and then they will, but not very often. It also depends on the amount of hunting pressure they have already experienced. If they have been shot at before, they tend to bolt much sooner.

Why there are no liberal rabbits. rabbit - "Others tell me to avoid humans, they say they are violent and merciless. I say men and rabbits can be friends and live together." @1:43 rabbit - "Hello human ! I come in peace." " human - "I see one." rabbit - "OOOOOOOOiiiieeeee that hurts."
