i have always hunted i killed my first grouse with an air rifle at five and have gotten more and more into it i have used snares and i do kill em if they are still alive but i prefer my silenced air rifle kills em and the bloke i work for thinks im a fucking magician so ssshhh anyway your a great trapper and i cannot argue with your methods cause this is a guy who snuck up on a mixy rabbit and broke its neck with the back of my knife.

If you think killing bunnies are mean people eat dogs, cats, ginny pigs. And plus if u have a garden your protecting it and your useing the rabit pelt for wormth and the meat for food. People eat cow and horses no shame for them but people freek out for bunnys if I where you every time you kill one as to say "thank you" it will make you feel beater ^.^

@infantry031 i can post a vid on how to make a rabbit snare without string ... string is no good alls you need is wire this winter that jest past i got 3 rabbits in 1 night i coulda got more but i pulled all my snares up cuz thats all i wanted.

@ethantup456 it could of been any thing if it was a cold night the rabit was runin fast .. maby it never instantly killed the rabbit and they would get pretty messed up jumpin around in the snare or maby it was jest the way you made it its hard to say.

just buy some snares its a hell of alot easier. and they dont cost much. talkin 50p a snare something around there if not cheaper

If I had a rabbit problem like that, I would snare them and donate the meat to a local zoo. Plus, I'd eat a lot of the rabbits, too. Young rabbit is sooooo good.

yes they do they eat grass i know more about hunting and trapping then you they die very quicklty from blacking out thus making them dead

the kind of wire used for rabbit snareing is brass 22.gage wire and you can buy in at canadian tire .

Wow you're actually my role model. I wish I could go and snare with you I could use some good tips. Huntings in my blood and I love it as much alot but after I kill something I really don't want to pick it up! I couldn't break a rabbits neck, i mean I'm not a little girl or anything it's just that when it's still alive it freaks the shit out of me. Anyway to over come this? Thank you.

awesomejb123 snaring is very fun, and it keeps the pelts and meat clean too. It's more exciting and fairish for the animal too. Have you ever tried bows and arrows for hunting?

people, dont do this.. i saw a rabbit thad was cought with a snare. he had a big flesh wound and other things. no its not thad i hate hunting, i like it but not with this was.. buy a gun or a good hunting dog.

falconrypk people are sometimes nasty with their snares, people who are good don't damage the pelt or meat at all. Often a quick death if they're going fast enough.
