What to do if your rabbit stops eating. You MUST get food into their GI tract or they can die in 48 hours or even less! Stasis means digestion and movement of the gastrointestinal tract has stopped. Stasis causes gases to bloat their intestines. This is a deadly situation in rabbits and guinea pigs and horses too.
