They let her against the advises of the Thirteen, and eventually she killed 2 of the leader of the cities and left after sacking it and stealing everything valuable for her own uses ( buying ships ). If you want to make an actual valid comparison to Trump... ISIS threatened to use the refugees convoys to infiltrate Europe/the US with their members. Now Trump wants to stop immigration until they can make sure this doesn't happen, but just like with Qarth, people disagree with it and want to let people in even tho we've proved we CAN'T vet everyone properly, it's to easy to fake identity and such. And when it fails, well, Paris happens. I know this is just satire, but they're clearly trying to make it anti-trump ( he looks bad/stupid in every scene ), only they cut the one line where he would actually look like the only one making sense : The line where Dany threatens to burn Qarth to the ground. They had the line where Dany describes her precarious situation ( no food no water ), the part where she demands only respects from the Qartheen, but conveniently cut off the part where she threatens to, you know, kill them all in a fiery inferno. I'm sure Trump doesn't mind people who need food and water. I think the whole "killing them all in fiery inferno" is the reason why he doesn't want to let them in. Once you push political agendas and use bias by cutting lines that would prove one side but keep all the lines that go AGAINST that same side, it sounds closer to a political statement (look, Trump is the guy who wants to let poor people die behind his closed gate!) than simple comedy. If it was just for fun, they could've shown the line, it would've made more sense for comedic purpose too, to show Trump doesn't want to let them in for an actual reason, not just because omg Trump is literally Satan!
