At least Irons didn't get mad like an angsty teen because of the change like David Hayter did with snake.
@gilian34277 жыл бұрын
ZetmanAxel was not it part of an act because of the plot twist of the game tho ?
@AxelVIIIROGOTE7 жыл бұрын
Yes, the metal gear voice actor for snake changed because of a very important plot twist. If it was Hayter, people would have guessed that twist right at the start of the game
@tyskbulle7 жыл бұрын
Angry teen? I think it was clear Hayter was upset in the way he was treated. Not for loosing the part. Kojima never cared much about the English voice overs. Hench why he always outsourced it and for MGS5 kept the original Japanese voice actors. He is also known for repeatedly saying that he has always wanted to work with Hollywood actors. Wink* Anyway, Hayter tried to contact Konami for news of whether he be needed, only to be met with silence. Eventually a member of the team took him out to dinner and told him. Treating your long time star like this is frankly a joke in the industry. Especially when you know how fond the fans are of that actor. I completely understand why Hayter said he has no love for Kojima, the guy didn't give a shit. While for the former it was a role of a lifetime. As for Iron Side, I got a slight impression he didn't want to do it anymore.

Even though Conviction was an incredible departure from the traditional Splinter Cell formula, it was still a really badass game. It's really surprising to think that, at least in my opinion, there hasn't been a single "bad" Splinter Cell game. Even Blacklist, which a ton of people were shitting on before it even came out, is really good. And even though Conviction is easily the weakest in the series, it still manages to be exceptional in its own right. Compare that track record to other franchises, and typically by the 3rd game everything sucks. I wonder what makes Splinter Cell so different from the rest that it can get away with each game being as good as the last.
