So Rabbi, a reform Jew who became Baal teshuva and is now a big Talmud chachum, you just said in this lecture this man is lousy and not considered Jewish because he started off reform. Basically discouraging any reform Jew from ever making teshuva by this statement , because according to your words they aren’t Jewish

Rabi you are misinformed about the Quran. There’s just one version of Quran. I don’t know where you get your information. Quran challenges that the Torah was corrupted. Most story is about Beni Israel changed the words from it’s places.

Purchase The Chumash ; The Five Books of Moses through ArtScroll and in it you will see His Name, Hashem written all through it. Even Tehillim has the name Hashem written in it.

the meaning of “adding and subtracting” from the Torah means that when the scribe is writing a physical copy of the Torah he is not allowed to change a single thing not even one letter, it also means that you are not allowed to add or subtract from any of the laws within it, as for the use of the phrase Hashem, it is used when speaking Gd’s personal name in any secular setting, when in a liturgical setting the title Adonai is used, this is because there is a Biblical prohibition in Shemot(exodus) where the personal name of Gd is not allowed to be said anywhere other than in the Temple, and since there is no Temple or Mishkan today The Name cannot be pronounced at all

the different translations of the christian bible have all been edited to have different meanings and doctrines, the ESV is different from the Septuagint and both are different from the Vulcan and the KJV and all 4 are so different from the Hebrew that they all contradict the original Hebrew, “translations” are not the word of HaShem, only the original Hebrew version is

⁠@@GodHasCommonsenseim not talking about “arrogance of language” im talking about how the church deliberately changed verses in the Bible to meet whatever doctrine their branch of christianity believes in, for example, in the catholic vulcan every single one of the 10 commandments was changed, or how in most protestant bibles Psalms 2:12 was changed to read “kiss the Son” instead of “kiss purity” or “arm yourselve with purity” which is what the Hebrew originally said, as for the christians in Israel who read from the masoretic text, they pick and choose what parts they read from it and again, they intepret each verse based on how they’re specific branch of christianity interprets it, not how the prophets or the sages did, but based of their own modern interpretations that were invented outside of Israel by goyim in places like greece, rome, the US, germany, etc etc., as for the Jews who cannot read Hebrew they are mostly people who belong to either christianity or to heretical sects like the reform and masorti movements or are outright secular, they are generally not religious Jews meaning Jews who don’t practice Judaism and who don’t care what the Bible says in the first place

Now hear me well: What then would you say to the Jewish Christians in Israel right now who read the Bible in Hebrew and yet get their faiths strengthened the more? Forget about all non-Jewish Christians who have "edited" the Bible. Talk as though you are talking to a Jewish-speaking Christian who reads the Torah/Bible in Hebrew. This is the same argument that Muslims use. They say to people like us that the reason why we reject the Quran is because we cannot speak/read Arabic. Then when you mention "what about Arabic Christians who speak Arabic and reads the Quran in Arabic and still don't believe in the Quran", they say "they're bigoted". That's exactly the argument you are using. Sad!

@@GodHasCommonsense they are Jews who follow a different religion, they interpret the Bible based off the interpretations that came from outside of Israel, messianic Jews are just evangelical christians who wear yarmulkes every once in awhile, no one cares about their interpretation of the Bible
