Dear Rabbi Mizrachi, I had the same experience with the app. Of course it is possible to speed up the lecture by speeding up the speed. This makes nervous and a kind of calmth and peace disappears while listening. Very sad - not so human. I wanted to react to you which also isn’t possible on the app. This Divine Information is still interactive. Véry precious! Again I have to thank you ánd your Family, for keeping going forward. Shalom from The Netherlands.

“Israel” (straight to G-d): Straight to G-d, through the struggles with man on one side, and through struggles with the divine on the other. Must stay the coarse under all such circumstances. That’s the meaning of the verse in Genesis that says of the name Israel, “Because you have struggled with both man and God and prevailed.”

My husband does not follow HaShem. We have been married 7 years. I began following HaShem after marriage. I was following christianity when I got married and learned that was idol worshipping so i repented and began following HaShem. I'm not happy because husband won't follow HaShem and i follow HaShem whether or not husband likes it or does it himself because husband is not my Creator.

How I sorrow I can’t be at the lectures! If people only knew what they are missing. When I was in Brooklyn, I would walk 50 minutes time ( at a rapid pace) to assist to the lectures. In cold, under the rain... happy I was given the opportunity to such a mitzvah. Think about it 😊

Jacob did not become Israel until he contended with the angel; through one of his greatest trials! The reason in the Siddur "Jacob" is used, in addition to the Gematriyah that you mentioned, is we haven't yet graduated through the proper gates of spirituality and self development to attain a higher status than our naturally given one. To prevent the ego from setting in, we must identify with Jacob's struggle to bring peace and reconciliation to assaf. Every Jew is called to be a light unto the nations. Until you put the necessary study and work behind learning "Torah", you will not be on the level of "Israel" (perhaps never), therefore, the author of the prayer makes all Jews equal, as one, (see also: opening mishna in the Pirkei Avot) under the Sovereignty of G-d by forcing us to see we have yet to contend and fight with our fears, doubts, and ego through trails...everyone must grow, learn, and study on... never reaching a true pinnacle!

Leviticus 19:18 (HNV) You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD. Deuteronomy 32: 35 It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.”

I have an inheritance from my Father and although I'm married my husband has me paying all the bills and I give from that. My husband contributes hardly anything. He works but keeps his money. He doesn't buy my clothes so I buy modest clothes. He doesn't like it but I do it for HaShem not him.

rabbi, the angel who wrestled ya'cob was called God (Gen 32;30) why?
@דןברמן-ב7פ
@דןברמן-ב7פ 3 жыл бұрын
hello. are you getting the name from an Englisg Bible or a hebrew Bible? Because in Hebrew Bible it doesn't say his name is GOD. An angel have lots of names as what he needs to do for each assignment. The angel had an assignment to give Yaakov a new name - Israel - "ישראל" - "straight to god" - only if Yaakov win the fight ! What fight you ask...? I, the Angel my powers are at night time - (At night you do not see clearly how GOD leads the world) and the Angel says if you succeed to win me I have to give you a Blessing - and the blessing is the new name ISRAEL !!! this is my assignment. I hope it clears things a bit.
