Really fantastic to see 2 generations of really tasteful heavy style players like this! Nick gave a Marshall clinic at a small store I worked at when he had the Rabea hair, amazing player and total charismatic professional. Great to see he found a home a Sweetwater.

I've been playing for years and own a variety of several types of pedals. But the only thing that ever seems to stick is reverb, overdrive, chorus, and wah, and the first two I generally get from the amp. I use all very sparingly too. I used to kind of mock guys with tons of effect pedals. But now I realize there's an art to using effects to their full effect and have come to admire those who can add new dimensions and atmosphere tastefully with effect pedals.

Amazingly fluid in his touch. But the thing I live is how sincere and down to earth he is. A genuine warm and kind soul.

Yeah, that's the thing I love about you, Bea. I've had a thing for really ballsy music with beautiful melodies at the core since the 80s, lots of Hüsker Dü and Helmet, that sorta thing. Your music is like the perfect embodiment of that idea for the 21st century, imo.

Sweetwater team, I think you guys should wait for the next time Rabea comes for a visit to Sweetwater HQ to take a look at his main pedalboard rather than a zoom chat. Would be WAY better in person and worth the wait!

The ironic part about this is that Bea is playing a Quad Cortex in Frogleap now, which is fits in an airline carry bag and has all these parts in it. He assembled this pedals and wood board to go overseas and demo the new amp from his amp endorsement company, and he says he'd more likely have a Strat with a board like this. It's a shame his signature guitar and signature amp aren't carried at the same store. Because this isn't Bea's rig at all, and it wasn't needed to suit the purpose he said he made it for.
@Utube-s8m Жыл бұрын
Well now he’s an Ernie Ball endorsed player. No more Chapman guitars for him anymore. And yep the quad cortex is great.

It's kinda extrange. I'm not a native English speaker. I'm from a Madrid, Spain, and I'm more made to American English accent than to British English. But I understood perfectly Rabea, and the fellow from Sweetwater, that supposed to live in the USA, sounded more British English to me. Am I wrong or what's going on?
@JamesBrown-ef4nc2 жыл бұрын
I would say that Rabea speaks naturally more clearly than Nick (that's just a personal difference). But Rabea also has a more northern English accent, whereas Nick sounds more southern: this regional difference does not necessarily explain any difference in clarity in this case. Espero que esto ayude! -un inglès
