In the comics, they get hurt like this all the time, and it's healed up fairly quick by comic deus ex machina. I wonder if Bruce/Alfred will still be sporting those in episode 2, or if this takes place in a timeline where that technology exists/will exist shortly. The mask is a symbol is just a superhero cliche choice. "Batman is who I am", so fight as Batman and don't subdue to Viki's request. Even Alfred suggests Bruce to keep hiding his identity. Batman has always an ace in the hole so we knew Alfred couldn't die. And even if Viki knows the truth about Bruce the reaction isn't so different, this reveal could have had a good point if she stopped fighting.

An idea came to me while seeing Bruce's ear. How do you destroy the Batman? By destroying the man behind the mask. If I were a villain, I'd scar batman next to his mouth, a deep big and ugly scar on the only spot his skin is exposed. Then, I'd take a picture of Bat's, then...leave. I'd publish this picture, everywhere on the internet and more, and just wait for the man behind the bat to have his scar discovered by everyone. That, or just making him hide, lose his social life.

***** Nope. Arkham asylum, while an alternate univere in of itself, is a spin off that is rooted in the OG universe, while this is like an alternate beginning to Batman's story.

They don't though, there are character biographies that contradict this one A LOT. For example the ones of Harvey, the Joker, Bruce himself etc. Also, the general appearance of the characters itself alone would contradict it (Penguin looking different, Two-Face looking different, Bruce having no damaged ear/Alfred still having both eyes, Grogan not being dead and never having been commissioner at all etc) Hell, even Vicki gets referenced somewhere in Asylum. Oh, then there is also the fact that Arkham Asylum has been standing on an Island as long as it existed, however in this game it is somewhere on the mainland, effectively contradicting the other. Another thing is that Amadeus Arkham (who was indeed the last Arkham) did not pass on his name, neither did he have any children. Oh also nevermind that the whole Thomas Wayne story is completely contradicted by the backstory, biography and not to mention the way Bruce talks about him.

Yisus :v It depends on who you choose to battle in Episode 4. If you choose Two-Face than you will get the basic BatFleck looking suit. If you choose to face penguin, than you will acquire the new high tech suit. If you choose to face penguin, than you will secure the wayne tech from being further compromised, which allows Lucius Fox to work on the brand new suit. If you choose to face Two-Face, than Penguin will further compromise the Wayne tech, not allowing Lucius to complete the brand new suit. I hope this helped.
